On hot days, nothing beats the craving for refreshing cold noodles.
During my recent search for a cold noodle restaurant in Sanbon, I visited Yukssam Naengmyeon.
It's one of my favorite places to indulge in this dish.
Even when I can't visit the store, I make sure to order from a delivery app at least once or twice a month.
Located on Rodeo Street in Sanbon, it's easy to find right across from E-Mart.
Yukssam Naengmyeon offers a delightful combination of cold noodles and grilled meat, making it a satisfying meal.
Upon entering, I noticed that even on a weekday afternoon, the place was bustling with customers, likely due to the summer season.
The menu is quite simple, and everyone knows there's a price difference between in-store and delivery app orders.
During this visit, I ordered bibim naengmyeon, mul naengmyeon, and dumplings.
The first thing that caught my eye was the warm meat broth.
It's disappointing that I can't enjoy the broth when ordering for delivery.
However, if you pick up your order, you can prepare a container for the broth and take it home.
In the summer, it's easy to forget about warm noodles when you visit a cold noodle restaurant, but Yukssam Naengmyeon allows you to enjoy warm broth as well, adding a unique twist to the experience.
While waiting for the cold noodles, sipping on the warm broth is comforting, and it makes the waiting time more enjoyable.
The grilled meat was served first, along with the cold broth.
We ordered two bibim naengmyeon and one mul naengmyeon for three people.
The taste remains consistent every time, which is great.
The bibim naengmyeon had a perfect blend of sweet and tangy flavors with chewy noodles, and pairing it with grilled meat balanced out the spiciness, making it even more enjoyable.
The mul naengmyeon had a refreshing and clean broth that was perfect for the hot weather, making it easy to eat without any heaviness.
The meat dumplings were just the right amount, with three pieces allowing everyone to have one.
The dumplings complemented the cold noodles well, making for a hearty meal.
While it may seem like a random thought, there have been times when I wanted to find the supplier of Yukssam Naengmyeon's dumplings because I liked them so much.
The charm of Yukssam Naengmyeon lies not only in the combination of cold noodles and grilled meat but also in the warm broth service that enhances the dining experience.
