This restaurant is famous for its chicken soup, duck soup, and samgyetang, especially popular as a health food during the summer.

As the weather has gotten colder, I decided to visit for some immune system boosting and energy recovery.

The restaurant is located near the Ilsung Apartment food alley in Twaegye-dong, right in front of Umukdeul Park.

It's also close to Namchuncheon Station, making it a popular spot for health food in the area.

Parking and Arrival

For parking, there is a dedicated parking lot in front of the restaurant, but if it's full, you can use the public parking lot across the street or nearby alleyways.

During meal times, it can get crowded, so we had to park in a nearby alley.

Upon entering, the staff greeted us warmly and checked our reservation.

Since most visitors come for the chicken soup, it's advisable to make a reservation for the soup types to enjoy a quicker meal.

Interior Atmosphere

The interior is clean and spacious, making it a great venue for gatherings or company dinners.

Previously, it operated with floor seating, but now all tables are set for sitting.

The standout dishes include the Naneun Duck Soup and Naneun Samgyetang. We decided to try the duck soup today.

While chicken is delicious, duck is known for being high in protein and low in fat, making it great for recovery.

The duck soup comes with a variety of vegetables, including the famous Naneun mushrooms, chives, bok choy, carrots, and cabbage.

The pot size is substantial, serving about 3 to 4 people, and the amount looks even more generous!

After boiling the soup, I tasted the broth and it was incredibly flavorful.

Once the vegetables had softened, I started searching for the duck meat hidden among them.

Finding a duck leg among the vegetables was exciting!

The meat was tender and flavorful, and the broth was rich and satisfying.

Sticky Rice to Finish

After enjoying the duck soup, it was time for the famous sticky rice, which is also very popular here.

Many people come just for the sticky rice!

The portion is generous enough to fill you up, and it's wonderfully chewy.

Combining the sticky rice with the soup made for a perfect meal.

Lastly, the remaining food can be packed to take home, making it convenient for leftovers.
