When I was younger, I often dined out with my family. However, after becoming an adult and gaining independence, I found that I don't spend as much time eating with my family as I used to.

Therefore, on days when I do get to eat with my parents, I like to find famous and delicious restaurants to enjoy together.

Recently, we celebrated my mother's birthday, and I wanted to make it extra special by dining at a nice place. After searching for restaurants in the Asan Sinjeongho area, I made a reservation at Gyeongbokgung Gappo Jeju.

This restaurant is quite popular and is conveniently located, making it an easy choice for us.

Parking was hassle-free as we could park in the building, allowing us to enjoy our meal without any worries.

Since everyone in my family drove separately, I checked the parking situation in advance. With such a large building, I felt reassured that we would have no issues parking and could focus on our meal.

The restaurant is situated on the second floor, and upon taking the elevator up, we immediately spotted it. The exterior exuded a luxurious atmosphere, which heightened my expectations.

Upon entering, I was greeted by a clean and sophisticated interior. One of the reasons we chose this restaurant was its individual room spaces, providing a more private dining experience.

Often, when visiting restaurants during busy meal times, it can get noisy and chaotic. However, this place offered a quiet and comfortable environment, allowing us to enjoy our meal and conversation.

We ordered the Gyeongbokgung Hanwoo Sirloin Course, which featured a variety of dishes. This made it a great choice for our family, as there was something for everyone.

The beautifully plated dishes made me feel excited even before we started eating. We began our meal with an appetizer that gently prepared our palates.

Even though we ordered the Hanwoo sirloin course, we were first served various side dishes and aged raw fish, which were delightful.

As we savored the delicious meat, we were also served a rich and hearty soybean paste stew, which paired excellently with the beef.
