Jeju's popular seafood restaurant, Badang Blues, is located about 40 minutes east of the airport in the picturesque town of Jocheon. It's conveniently close to popular tourist attractions like Hamdeok Beach and Changuimun Rock, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a fun day before heading here for dinner.

The restaurant operates from 3 PM to 1 AM, but if you want to sit outside, it's best to arrive early. After 6 PM, the place gets crowded, especially around sunset.

Even if you're just planning to take out, be aware that there might be a wait due to high demand, so it's wise to hurry if you're heading to this seafood haven.

Parking is easy as the restaurant has a dedicated parking area.

Once we arrived, we quickly grabbed a spot at the outdoor seating area, which has a charming ambiance. Fortunately, we found a vacant table and settled in. Both standing and sitting tables are available, so you can choose your preference.

Due to a back issue, we opted for a standing table to enjoy the sunset view comfortably. The outdoor setting does have bugs, so those who dislike them can dine indoors, which is beautifully decorated with an exotic theme.

We ordered the signature menu, a platter of Jeju's prized fish, Shimaji and Uni, priced at 69,000 KRW. Shimaji, also known as striped jack, is a high-end fish that isn’t commonly found elsewhere.

Uni, or sea urchin roe, is well-known for its rich flavor. The freshness meant there was no fishy taste at all, making it incredibly delicious. Eating the Shimaji wrapped in seaweed with Uni was a heavenly experience, especially paired with a glass of Hallasan soju. The view added to the magical atmosphere.

The changing colors of the sky as the sun set added to the restaurant's charm, with everyone capturing the moment on their phones. The vibrant hues were breathtaking, creating a truly artistic scene.

After our meal, we enjoyed a bowl of ramen included in the platter, which tasted even better than usual in this setting. We couldn't resist ordering another bottle of soju to accompany the ramen broth—it's simply a must!

Badang Blues offers a perfect combination of taste, ambiance, and view. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience in Jeju, this is the place to be. Enjoy the sweet summer night here!
