This is a personal review of my experience.

At the local restaurant 'Sikgoljip' in Sanbon, I was so impressed after my first visit that I returned with my family just two days later.

Finding a great restaurant by chance makes it even more memorable. This was exactly the case with Sikgoljip.

I had lunch there with friends without any expectations, having heard it was a good place to eat.

It was conveniently located near my workplace, allowing me to walk there.

The food was so satisfying that I immediately thought, "I have to bring my family here!" So, I ended up visiting again with my family just two days later.

The fact that I returned within such a short time speaks volumes about how much I enjoyed it.

Sikgoljip is a great spot to visit when you're craving Korean food in Sanbon.

During my first visit, I arrived around lunchtime. If I had been a little later, I would have had to wait for a table.

It was clear that many locals frequent this place. I noticed several diners eating alone, making it a comfortable spot for solo visits.

The interior had a cozy, homey feel, as if it had been run by locals for a long time.

Based on recommendations from friends, we ordered the stir-fried octopus and grilled hairtail.

The menu was simple, which is often a good sign of a restaurant's quality.

Shortly after placing our order, the side dishes arrived, each looking like they had been made at home.

We ordered two servings of stir-fried octopus, and each came in its own stone pot.

The grilled hairtail was small but incredibly delicious.

Each side dish was well-seasoned but not overpowering, building anticipation for the main courses.

The food arrived quickly, and the portions were generous.

What impressed me most was the comforting, home-cooked taste that wasn't overly spicy.

Along with the side dishes, we were served a hearty radish soup, which was pleasantly filling.

In a time when many dishes are overly salty, Sikgoljip offers Korean cuisine that is easy to enjoy without getting tired of it.

During our meal, the staff frequently asked if we needed refills on our side dishes, contributing to a pleasant dining atmosphere.

As I left, I was already thinking about returning with my family.

Good food naturally makes you want to share it with loved ones.

Two days later, I returned with my family.

It felt a bit selfish to keep such a delicious place to myself.

This time, we had to think about what to order for lunch, and since I had already praised the food, everyone was eager to go.

One downside of Sikgoljip is the parking situation. Parking on the road can be stressful due to strict regulations.

However, there is a public parking lot nearby that we used.

This time, we ordered a different set of dishes to share, and they certainly did not disappoint.

We had two servings of grilled hairtail and spicy stir-fried octopus.

The stir-fried octopus had a mild heat that was enjoyable.

Although the plate was small, the amount of hairtail was generous.

My family was thrilled, saying things like, "This place is great!" and "All the side dishes are delicious!" which made me proud.

The food is suitable for everyone, from kids to adults, making it a great spot for family dining.

If we needed more side dishes, we could easily ask for refills, and the staff was very friendly throughout our meal.

We thoroughly enjoyed the spicy stir-fried octopus.

Typically, about 8-9 side dishes are served, including tofu stew and kimchi, with some variations each day.

They also serve different types of pancakes depending on the day.

Refills for side dishes are quick, and water is self-serve.

When I crave home-cooked meals, Sikgoljip is the first place that comes to mind.

These days, dining out often means indulging in heavily seasoned dishes, but sometimes, I long for the taste of homemade Korean food.

Sikgoljip is a great choice for those days.

The generous portions, neat side dishes, and reasonable prices make it easy to understand why I returned so quickly.

It seems like a satisfying option for family meals or work lunches.

However, I did notice a minor issue during my visit: we had to share our meal with a couple of flies.

Though it was summer and the door was frequently opened, it was a bit off-putting to see flies while dining.

While this can happen in any household, I felt it was a bit disappointing considering we were paying customers.

In summary, what started as a random visit has now become my go-to place for home-cooked meals in Sanbon.

Sikgoljip offers delicious food, a comfortable atmosphere, and friendly service, making it a place I would gladly revisit.

If you're looking for a hearty meal in Sanbon, I highly recommend checking out Sikgoljip.
