My trip to Seosan with a friend was truly delightful!

After pondering what to have for dinner, my friend suggested we stop by the beautiful cherry blossoms at Lake Park. We enjoyed a lovely evening stroll in the refreshing air and had a delightful dinner at a nearby restaurant known for its delicious dak-galbi (spicy stir-fried chicken).

The sweet and spicy flavors washed away the fatigue of the day, and the night view of the lake added a romantic touch to our outing. The beautifully prepared food and the sparkling scenery of the lake made our dinner feel even more special.

One of the great advantages is the worry-free parking even during dinner hours. You can easily access dedicated spaces or public parking lots nearby, so driving there is stress-free. The surrounding streetlights provide ample illumination, ensuring safety when parking and walking late at night. I was lucky to find a spot right in front of the restaurant.

Exterior Appearance

The restaurant's exterior at night creates a much more atmospheric vibe compared to the daytime. The warm lighting wrapping around the building gives it a cozy feel from afar. The stylish entrance was a lovely spot for my friend and me to take some photos.

Interior Ambiance

Upon entering, I was greeted by a cozy dinner atmosphere with soft lighting. The lively yet relaxed indoor air was perfect for having heartfelt conversations with my friend.

Neuru House uses a clean and warm font for its name, which means 'slowly, for a long time' in pure Korean. Knowing the meaning made me appreciate the name even more. Additionally, it is listed in the 2026 Seoul Blue Ribbon Survey, which adds to its credibility.

Thanks to the neatly arranged tables and the friendly service from the staff who welcomed us with smiles, we felt well taken care of from the start.

Dak-galbi at Neuru House

The side dishes served were simple, but since dak-galbi is the main dish, we didn’t need much more. If I had to pick a favorite side, it would definitely be the baek-kimchi (white kimchi). It was refreshing and delicious!

Finally, the main dish, dak-galbi, arrived. The staff cut it at our table, and the visual presentation was mouthwatering. The generous amount of cheese was impressive. The dak-galbi's intense and deep flavors were perfect for relieving the stress of the day, and the sizzling chicken on the grill looked irresistible.

Since it was pre-cooked before being served, we didn’t have to wait long. Eating it just as the cheese started to melt was perfect timing. The seasoning penetrated the tender chicken, bursting with juices and umami with every bite.

Unexpectedly, the buckwheat noodles with perilla oil were a delightful surprise! The nutty flavor of the perilla oil made it a unique dish. I highly recommend trying the perilla oil buckwheat noodles.

Especially during dinner, the rich flavor of dak-galbi felt even more pronounced. Wrapping a piece of meat and garlic in fresh lettuce created a burst of happiness in my mouth. Sharing this culinary experience with my friend over cool drinks was truly exquisite.
