Jeju Black Pig
Seogwipo Black Pig Review
Dining in a Cozy Atmosphere
Enjoying the Four Seasons Black Pig in Jeju.
We visited during peak dinner hours and found it quite popular.
As there are many restaurants, we had to wait a bit.
However, we spent our waiting time playing with animals in the palm garden,
making the wait enjoyable!
Here’s my review of the Seogwipo Black Pig experience.
Let me share the details right away!
1. Four Seasons Black Pig Operational Information
The Four Seasons Black Pig, a specialty restaurant for Jeju black pig, is located in Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo City,
close to Sanbangsan Mountain, allowing for a beautiful mountain view upon arrival.
After parking and heading to the restaurant, I was amazed by the expansive palm garden!
The beautifully landscaped garden took my breath away :)
What about the ambiance? At night, the fairy lights create a cozy atmosphere.
The interior was bustling with customers,
so we were informed to wait briefly and headed back to the garden to meet some animal friends.
From black pigs to horses, ducks, goats, and rabbits,
it was a delightful gathering of cute animals!
Thanks to this, I lost track of time while waiting. By the way,
if you write a review, you can also experience feeding the animals,
so feel free to ask at the counter and enjoy feeding while waiting.

2. Seating Arrangement
The restaurant offers all standing seating, with a spacious indoor area.
The outdoor area has a semi-outdoor feel, perfect for chilly weather.
Through the transparent tent, the view of the Four Seasons Black Pig is stunning.
Is there another meat restaurant this beautiful?
I couldn't help but get lost in the lovely atmosphere.
For those visiting with children, high chairs are available,
and blankets can be borrowed if it's cold. How thoughtful!
3. Thick Premium Jeju Black Pig
We ordered 540g of fresh meat for two,
along with black pig kimchi stew, steamed eggs, and abalone ramen.
Once we placed our order, our table was quickly set!
The beautifully arranged side dishes and the bright red, high-quality Seogwipo black pig made my mouth water.
✔️ The meat is pre-cooked before being served,
allowing for quick grilling right at the table.
The staff takes care of grilling, so you can just sit back and enjoy.
No one has to worry about grilling the meat alone, which is a huge plus!
The savory aroma of the Jeju black pig sizzles on the grill,
and it cooked to a perfect golden brown.
The first bite bursts with juicy flavor,
followed by a rich and delightful aftertaste.
The texture of the Seogwipo black pig varies by cut,
with the belly being chewy and the neck meat tender and crispy.
4. Perfect Pairing: Stew & Steamed Eggs
The kimchi stew, a fantastic pairing with Jeju black pig,
is a must-order item when visiting Four Seasons.
I was surprised to see whole kimchi in the stew!
It's rare to find restaurants that use ingredients generously.
With plenty of leftover meat added,
the broth was on another level,
deep and rich, perfectly balancing the heaviness.
The steamed egg may look ordinary,
but it was soft and perfectly seasoned,
making it hard to resist. My child loved it too,
so we ended up ordering another!
5. Finishing with Seafood Ramen
To wrap up the meal, I debated between cold noodles and ramen,
ultimately choosing the warm abalone ramen—a great choice!
Loaded with fresh abalone and mussels,
the broth was incredibly deep,
and the noodles were cooked to perfection.
Spicy and flavorful, my husband found it perfect as a side dish with his drink,
ordering another bottle of soju.
If you're looking for a great black pig restaurant in Seogwipo,
I highly recommend visiting Four Seasons near Sanbangsan.
You can enjoy premium Jeju black pork at a reasonable price
in a lovely Jeju atmosphere. You won't regret it!
