So, I visited a restaurant in Icheon that I love, called Subaekdang, with my family.
It has ample parking and a spacious dining area, making it a great place for family visits.
On a day when I craved a hearty soup dish, I naturally headed there.

As soon as the food arrived, I understood why it was the signature dish.
The beef intestines sundae hot pot had a distinct broth aroma.
Menu items with intestines can sometimes have an unpleasant smell, but here it was completely absent, offering a rich and nutty flavor.
The longer it boiled, the richer the broth became, and I kept reaching for my spoon.

Every time I visit this Icheon restaurant, I almost always order the minari sundae guk.
Initially, I was skeptical about the combination of sundae and minari.
I worried that a strong minari flavor might overpower the broth.
However, after trying it once, my perspective completely changed.
The crunchy texture paired wonderfully with the sundae guk.
Especially because they use Icheon minari, the freshness and harmony with the broth were remarkable.
This dish offered a charm I had never experienced with traditional sundae guk.
Now, it has become a staple menu item whenever I visit this restaurant.
This time, I also tried the spicy sundae guk.
It was richer and spicier than the regular version, leaving a strong impression.
With plenty of ingredients, one bowl was enough for a satisfying meal.
If you want it spicier, you can add some chili sauce, which enhances the broth's flavor without being heavy.
Enjoying it once with the basic flavor and then adding chili sauce for a different taste allowed me to experience two sensations in one dish.
Having it with chives added even more depth to the flavor.
Each dish reflects the owner's genuine passion for food.

Once again, I visited Subaekdang in Icheon with my family and had a truly satisfying meal.
The hot pot set is excellent for both meals and drinks, making it perfect for family gatherings or hosting guests.
With ample parking, group seating, and high chairs available, it's convenient for anyone dining here.
Most importantly, the restaurant is well-maintained, allowing for a pleasant dining experience.
To finish off, we enjoyed a light dessert of puffed rice and ice cream.
This fun combination is loved by kids and surprisingly satisfying for adults as well.
