Discover the Stunning Beauty of Yesan Agro Land's Cornflower Fields

At the end of May, there is a breathtaking domestic travel destination in Korea.
The highlight is the Yesan Agro Land Cornflower Fields.
I visited the Agro Land, which features a 40,000-pyeong flower field filled with cornflowers within a 300,000-pyeong farm.
Currently, Agro Land is blooming not only with cornflowers but also with peonies and poppies.
There are various attractions and activities, such as dairy experiences, tractor rides, and feeding parrots.
This weekend, I would like to introduce the stunning view of the cornflowers at Yesan Agro Land, which is expected to be in full bloom.
Agro Land is located at 231 Sangmong 2-gil, Godeok-myeon, Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do.
The operating hours are from 09:00 to 18:30, and the entrance fee is 11,000 won for adults and 8,000 won for children.
Residents of Chungcheongnam-do receive a 1,000 won discount.
The dairy experience costs 7,000 won, which includes milking cows, feeding milk, and hay.
The cornflowers are currently at their peak bloom.
Cornflowers are a type of chrysanthemum, named for their small, radial flowers resembling the spokes of a wheel.
Interestingly, cornflowers are also called "Centaurea," linked to the legend of Chiron the centaur from Greek mythology.
According to the legend, when Chiron was injured by the Hydra's poison, Zeus told him that he would be healed by the flower he loved, leading to the use of cornflowers for his recovery.
Flying a drone from above reveals a vast, blue sea of cornflowers.
It is rare to find such large flower fields in Korea, making it feel like a trip to Hokkaido, Japan.
This is my several-year tradition of visiting the Yesan Agro Land cornflower season.
Each year, the condition of the flowers varies, and some years have seen damage from the wind.
However, this year, the cornflowers are blooming beautifully.
On my visit on May 25, 2026, the flowers were about 70% bloomed, and I expect them to be in full bloom by the end of May.
Cornflowers last long once they bloom, so they should still be in good condition in June.
I recommend visiting Yesan Agro Land this weekend to see the cornflowers.
Additionally, this year, you can see peonies at Agro Land, which is a special treat not seen in previous years.
The peony flower fields are larger than expected, and walking through them while inhaling the gentle fragrance is a healing experience.
However, please note that the flower fields are very vast and lack shade, so it's best to visit early in the morning.
Bringing a hat, parasol, and water will enhance your experience.
Agro Land not only features beautiful cornflower fields but also has healing walking paths and numerous photo spots, making it a great travel destination in Chungcheongnam-do throughout the year.
As you walk through the forest, there are various photo opportunities.
If it gets too hot while enjoying the flowers, you can take a break in the shade of the trees.
Yesan Agro Land is a popular place to visit, especially for families with children, offering dairy experiences that are highly recommended.
The dairy experience costs 7,000 won and includes three activities: milking cows, feeding milk, and hay.
My child is eager to visit Agro Land mainly for the dairy experience.
On my visit, I saw my child taking a commemorative photo while milking a cow.
We also enjoyed feeding calves and goats, having a delightful time.
On the day I visited, it was a holiday, and there was a long line for the dairy experience, indicating its popularity.
Yesan Agro Land is definitely a must-visit location.
There is also a petting farm, but due to the heat, we couldn't go there.
However, we participated in the parakeet feeding experience nearby, where we could buy food for 2,000 won.
Once inside the parakeet enclosure, various colorful birds came to eat eagerly.
Yesan Agro Land, with its cornflowers, peonies, and poppies in full bloom, is a wonderful place to visit.
Although I could not visit in the evening to see the sunset, I recommend visiting after 5 PM to see the poppies glowing in the sunset.
Overall, visiting Yesan Agro Land is enjoyable for both adults and children, with various flowers and experiences to enjoy.
Come and explore the beautiful blue sea of cornflowers at Agro Land.
