Hello,
This is TaeTaeMom.
Before heading to the Yeosu U-World Luge Theme Park, I wanted to have a hearty meal with my kids, but I was unsure where to go.
While we could easily find something to eat inside the tourist area, filling our stomachs properly before having fun is always better, right?
So, we decided to visit a restaurant called Ori Aehan, which is about a 5-minute drive from Yeosu U-World Luge Theme Park, and enjoyed a delicious meal of Yeosu Duck Bulgogi.
In short, it was a great family-friendly place where we could comfortably enjoy a hearty meal, from duck bulgogi to cold noodles.
1. A Satisfying Meal Before the Luge, Perfect Location
📍 Location: 13-20, Jugnim Central Road, Sora-myeon, Yeosu, Jeollanam-do
🕚 Business Hours: 11:00 AM - 10:00 PM
⏰ Break Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
🕘 Last Order: 9:00 PM
What I liked the most was the close proximity to Yeosu U-World Luge Theme Park!
I visited with the thought, “Let’s have a hearty meal before heading to the luge!” and I was really pleased with the convenience of the location.
When traveling with kids, finding a restaurant and moving can take up a lot of time.
After enjoying the delicious Yeosu Duck Bulgogi, we moved on to our next activity, saving time and feeling satisfied.
2. Comfortable Atmosphere, Like a Neighborhood Gem
The exterior had a cozy neighborhood restaurant vibe rather than the overly decorated tourist spots.
This made it even more appealing.
While traveling in Yeosu, we often visit famous tourist restaurants, but having a hearty meal at a comfortable place like this is always a nice break.
The atmosphere was relaxed enough for families to enjoy a duck meal together, and we felt comfortable dining there as tourists.
3. Clean and Spacious Interior, Perfect for Family Dining
Upon entering, I found the restaurant to be surprisingly spacious and clean.
There were plenty of tables, making it suitable for family outings or larger groups.
They also had a wide area inside, making it a good spot for group meals or gatherings.
4. Sizzling Duck Bulgogi, A Flavor That Calls for Rice!
Finally, the main event of the day!
As soon as the Yeosu Duck Bulgogi arrived, the sizzling sound on the grill was mouthwatering.
The thinly sliced duck combined with onions and chives cooked beautifully, and the aroma was irresistible.
5. Adding Side Dishes Makes the Meal More Abundant
The basic side dishes that come with the duck bulgogi were also delightful.
There were bean sprout salad, perilla leaf pickles, macaroni salad, and onion pickles!
6. If You Eat Meat, You Must Have Cold Noodles!
Even if you’re full, cold noodles are a must at a meat restaurant.
We finished off with refreshing Yeosu cold noodles, which perfectly cleansed the palate after the rich flavors of the duck.
Overall, Ori Aehan in Jugnim was a wonderful dining experience, ideal for families looking for a hearty meal before heading to the Yeosu U-World Luge Theme Park.
