I have always wanted to visit this place, which is bustling with customers every time I pass by, and I finally made it this time.

With rooms available for family dining and various gatherings, the lunch menu is well-prepared, making it a popular spot for office workers.

This is a great place to enjoy a meal without any pressure.

Let me share my review of Sal Sal Nokso, a hidden gem in Yongin's Giheung district.

The restaurant is located at 44 Seokhyeon-ro 12-gil, Giheung-gu, Yongin.

Operating hours are from 11 AM to 9:40 PM with no break times.

During weekdays, cold noodles are available for just 1,000 won.

The restaurant has private rooms and ample parking.

While taste is crucial for a meat restaurant, convenience in parking is also important for customers.

This place has two dedicated parking lots, making it easy to visit by car.

Since it operates without break times, if you're worried about waiting, consider visiting during the relatively quiet afternoon hours instead of peak times.

We ordered a half platter of 400g of fresh rib meat, which is perfect for two to three people.

The aroma of 100% charcoal heat filled the air, enhancing the meat's flavor.

The fresh rib meat looked noticeably different from what I've seen elsewhere, with its vibrant red color and well-distributed marbling.

The thickness was just right, and the freshness was apparent even before grilling.

The sizzling sound of the meat cooking on the grill heightened our appetite.

As the outside turned golden brown, flipping the meat trapped the juices inside, releasing a delightful aroma.

The fresh rib meat had no unpleasant odors, indicating the restaurant's thorough management of its products.

I tasted the well-cooked meat with just a pinch of salt, and the savory flavor was complemented by a subtle sweetness that emerged with each bite.

Along with the basic side dishes, we were served a bowl of seonjitguk (blood soup) as a complimentary item.

This soup had a surprisingly rich flavor, making it popular for lunch.

We also ordered a bowl of bibim naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles) for dessert.

On weekdays, the cold noodles are available for just 1,000 won and are quite generous in portion.

The presentation was neat, which lifted our spirits even before eating.

The secret sauce, made with a blend of ingredients in-house, lacked the overpowering sweetness often found in commercial sauces.

It paired beautifully with the meat.

Before grilling more meat, I went to the self-serve bar to replenish the side dishes.

I was able to take as much fresh vegetables, onion slices, and kimchi as I wanted, making it a comfortable experience.

Initially, I thought the half platter wouldn't be enough, but after grilling it on the grill, I realized it was quite substantial.

The thickness of the meat allowed for grilling that kept the juices intact, and once cut into pieces, the grill was filled with a generous amount.

Wasabi was not available at the self-serve bar, but when I requested it from the staff, they kindly brought it to me.

Eating beef with a touch of wasabi enhances its unique flavor.

The fresh ribs were more savory than greasy, with a delightful chewy texture and tenderness.

The balance of flavors was excellent, making it a popular choice among families and older customers.

Although Sal Sal Nokso is well-known for its beef, I decided to try their kimchi stew as well.

After enjoying the meat, a spoonful of the spicy kimchi stew was the perfect way to cleanse the palate.

It was an excellent finishing dish, with generous portions of tofu and kimchi, and the broth was rich without being artificial.

I left nothing behind in the bowl.

Sal Sal Nokso exceeded my expectations not only in the quality of the meat but also in the satisfying dessert menu.

Now I understand why it is always bustling with customers, and I naturally want to return again.
