A Delicious Breakfast Experience at Hallagalchi near Jeju Airport

Before heading to Jeju Airport with my family, I wanted to fill our stomachs with a hearty breakfast. I searched for a popular breakfast spot in Jeju City and found Hallagalchi, which was conveniently located and had a good menu.
The reason I chose this place was because of its generous portions. Although I had visited several restaurants with my parents, there were always some disappointing aspects.
This restaurant offers not only grilled fish dishes but also a variety of meats, making it a satisfying choice for our last meal.
Parking was easy as there was ample space right in front of the restaurant, eliminating the need to search for a separate parking lot.
As expected from a popular spot, the walls were adorned with signatures from various celebrities, indicating its fame.
The interior was clean and spacious, making it suitable for larger groups.
While passing by, I noticed a self-service bar that was well-maintained and regularly cleaned.
The Hallagalchi set allows you to choose between boneless or whole braised fish. The overall composition remains the same, so you just need to order according to the number of people.
We opted for the boneless option for convenience. Our meal included whole braised fish, grilled fish, black pork meatballs, butter-grilled abalone, cold black pork, fish sashimi, fried fish, seaweed soup, and abalone rice, totaling 159,000 won for four people.
The side dishes were simple, featuring squid jeotgal, kimchi, and braised quail eggs. They were not overly sweet and had a homemade taste.
The grilled whole fish was served on a long plate, and the staff had already cleaned it, making it easy to eat.
The fish was moist and tender, not falling apart as easily as usual, making it enjoyable to chew.
The boneless braised fish was filled with various ingredients like mushrooms, radish greens, shrimp, and abalone, ensuring everyone had a piece of seafood.
The seasoning was well absorbed, making it delicious. The sweet and savory sauce paired well with rice.
The abalone rice was particularly flavorful when mixed with the braised fish sauce.
The cold black pork had a chewy texture and was pleasantly light.
The fried fish had a light batter that didn’t feel heavy, allowing us to enjoy it fully.
The fish sashimi was a new experience, with a torch used to enhance its flavor, making it enjoyable even for those who might find it too rich.
Both the black pork meatballs and butter-grilled abalone were moist and tender.
The seaweed soup was light and clean, pairing well with any dish.
I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and generosity of the food at this breakfast spot. If you're near the airport and want to enjoy a hearty meal with your family, Hallagalchi is a place you won't regret visiting.
