Ganghwa Jeondeungsa Temple offers a refreshing escape from the bustling city, perfect for those seeking a serene environment. Within the walls of the fortress, which is said to have been built by the three sons of Dangun, Jeondeungsa Temple is nestled comfortably. Established during the Goguryeo era, it received patronage from the Goryeo royal family and later became the site for storing royal genealogies and records during the Joseon dynasty, further enriching its historical significance.
