The Goyang Mat Movie Festival, hosted by the Goyang Cultural Foundation, has reached its 12th anniversary this year!

On August 21st and 22nd, at the outdoor yard of Goyang Oullim Nuri, we enjoyed a variety of programs including movies, magic shows, and musical performances.

It was a delightful time that satisfied the eyes and ears of Goyang citizens.

Despite concerns about rain on the first day of the event, many students arrived early to enjoy the atmosphere, while families set up picnic spots with delicious food.

The festival kicked off with an MC who had hosted the event last year, creating a lively atmosphere. The Goyang city mascot, the 'Goyang Cat', was a hit during the keychain giveaway event, bringing excitement to attendees of all ages.

A photo zone for fans of the 'Goyang Cat' was also set up, allowing everyone to capture memorable moments.

To ensure the safety of children, there were lost child and medical support booths, along with safety personnel stationed throughout the venue.

Parking tips included using the parking lots at the Oullim Nuri Cultural Center or Oullim Theater for convenience, with daily parking available for just 2000 won during the festival.

For those who didn't bring their own food, a convenience store was available inside Oullim Nuri for easy purchases.

The festival officially opened with a magic show by Uncle Kid, which received great responses from the audience due to its interactive nature.

As the sun began to set, the main feature film, "Trolls: Band Together," was screened, wrapping up a night filled with joy and laughter.
