2026 Goyang Autumn Flower Festival
Date: October 1 - October 11, 2026
Location: Theme Plaza, Ilsan Lake Park
Admission: Free
As this festival is free, there were long lines of visitors right from the first day.
However, just because it's free doesn't mean there are fewer attractions or inadequate facilities.
Various booths for viewing, eating, and experiences were set up around the theme plaza of Ilsan Lake Park and the Goyang Flower Exhibition Hall.
The main garden welcomes visitors with the Goyang City mascot, 'Goyang Cat'.
It's fun to take pictures with the 'Goyang Cat' hidden among the autumn flowers.
There is also a 'Large Cake Zone' celebrating the 30th anniversary of the flower festival, where you can take photos while wearing space, jungle, or Goyang Cat costumes!
In the picnic zone, you can relax on benches adorned with beautiful flower paintings while listening to the soothing sounds of wind chimes.
The Goyang Flower Market allows you to buy a variety of flowers at reasonable prices through direct transactions with local flower farms.
There are also booths where you can participate in various events.
For those who need plant care, the 'Visiting Plant Hospital' offers consultations with plant experts on diagnosis and care methods.
Visitors can also enjoy the 'Bob Grandma Experience Center', which showcases the story of the female warrior 'Bob Grandma' from the Joseon Dynasty, along with drawing challenges.
Don't miss the 'Flower Bingo' and 'Lucky Flower Fishing' booths, where you can receive prizes!
The 'Floating Flower Bicycle' is available for rides during the festival, providing a unique experience.
Food stalls are set up near the Goyang Flower Exhibition Hall, offering a variety of delicious options.
There will also be performances starting at 5 PM every day, so be sure to check it out!
Parking is available at Lots 2 and 4 of Ilsan Lake Park, with fees of 100 won per 5 minutes and a maximum daily charge of 5,500 won.
Even on the first day, the closest Lot 3 was full, making parking nearly impossible. Lots 2 and 4 had some available spaces.
We recommend parking in Lots 2 or 4 and walking a bit to the festival, especially during weekends when public transportation is a better option.
Enjoy the autumn colors at Ilsan Lake Park and plan a day out with family or friends!
