Visit the Yesan Chusa Memorial Hall This Summer!

Hello!
Welcome to the Yesan County Office :)
Is it hot outside, and are you wondering where to go with your child?
Why not head to the Yesan Chusa Memorial Hall, where you can enjoy history, culture, and hands-on experiences in a cool indoor space!
The Yesan Chusa Memorial Hall is a place where you can fully appreciate the great artistic spirit and legacy of 'Chusa Kim Jeong-hee', a genius painter and calligrapher representing the late Joseon period.
Even in the height of summer, it's a comfortable cultural space to enjoy, so we invite you to visit and encounter the magnificent world of Chusa's artworks and the intense records of his life.
This summer, in celebration of our opening, we are excited to present a special exhibition titled "Chusa: The Journey to Yodong - The Quiet Traveler" in the exhibition hall, which we highly recommend you visit.
This exhibition highlights the vibrant journey of the 'young Chusa' who traveled to Yodong in 1809, carrying dreams of success.
As you follow his fascinating journey that broadened his academic and artistic horizons, you will soon forget the summer heat and become immersed in the exhibition.
Exhibition Period: Until September 30
Admission Fee: Free
Exhibition Location: Chusa Memorial Hall Exhibition Hall
If you're planning an outing with kids, a hands-on experience is a must!
After viewing the exhibition, move on to the 'Chusa Experience Room', where everyone from toddlers to adults can joyfully participate.
Instead of just viewing the exhibition, you can pick up a brush and try writing or engage in various fun activities that are well-prepared for you.
Children can learn history in a fun way that might otherwise seem difficult, leading to high satisfaction among family visitors.
Thanks to our informative programs, we've seen a rise in group reservations through our website and visits from university camp programs.
The Chusa Memorial Hall also provides foldable wheelchairs and strollers for visitors with mobility challenges and those with infants.
This service is offered for free to ensure visitor convenience, so feel free to come and enjoy the exhibition comfortably.
This summer vacation, why not embark on a special cultural journey to the Yesan Chusa Memorial Hall with your children?
Escape the heat in our cool indoor space, and we recommend following the artistic footsteps of Master Chusa filled with the scent of ink!
