The exhibition, titled <<The Sensation of Hands, The Connection of the World>>, will be held at the Cultural Manufacturing Center's Korean Craft Museum from July 14 to August 23, 2026.

Cheongju is the birthplace of the world's oldest metal type book, <Jikji>, and has established itself as a global craft city by hosting the Cheongju Craft Biennale.

This exhibition connects Cheongju's 'DNA of Creation' and conveys the inherent value and beauty of crafts through the mystical medium of 'hands'.

Upon entering the exhibition hall, over 300 works by artists who have carefully handled various materials such as clay, wood, fabric, lacquer, metal, and glass await you.

In a cold modern society dominated by digital technology, this special exhibition allows you to immerse yourself in a wave of reflection and emotion through the diverse works created with dedication by artisans and artists.

At the entrance of the exhibition, fresh green-toned textile materials capture your attention with a unique atmosphere.

As you venture further inside, there is an interactive zone where you can walk through the paths created by the artists.

Another highlight of the exhibition is the 'Weaving Wall,' a space created by the hands of citizens during a pre-workshop, where threads of different colors intertwine to form a grand landscape.

You can still participate by selecting your favorite colored thread and connecting it from Cheongju to the city you wish to visit.
