The Exciting Agricultural Festivals in Seosan

June is a bustling time in the countryside.
It's the season for harvesting crops sown last autumn and early spring.
Crops such as potatoes, cherry tomatoes, young radishes, onions, and garlic are being harvested.
To celebrate the harvest season, an agricultural festival is held in Seosan, Chungcheongnam-do.
The Seosan Palbongsan Potato Festival took place from June 20 to 21,
and the Seosan Six-Cluster Garlic Festival will be held from June 26 to 28.
You can meet high-quality agricultural products from Chungnam at the Seosan Agricultural Festival.
Following the June agricultural festival, we look forward to upcoming festivals in Seosan.
In July, there's the Samgilpo Rockfish Festival,
in October, the Seosan Haemi Fortress Festival, and in November, the Seosan Fermented Crab Festival and the Seosan Chrysanthemum Festival.
The Seosan Palbongsan potatoes are cultivated in sandy loam at the foot of Palbongsan,
benefiting from the sea breeze of the Garorim Bay, resulting in rich nutrients.
With a fluffy texture and excellent taste, they are rich in various minerals and nutrients,
with thin and firm skins.
For six consecutive years, they have been selected as a Korea Top Brand.
The Seosan Agricultural Festival offers a wealth of food, sights, and fun activities.
Free tastings of steamed potatoes, buttered potatoes, grilled pork, and curry rice are available.
Almost everyone at the festival had the chance to taste Palbongsan potatoes.
Potato varieties and dishes are also on display.
Potatoes are one of the most consumed staple crops worldwide,
with various exhibits explaining the characteristics of Palbongsan potatoes.
The highlight of the festival was the potato digging experience,
where participants could dig for potatoes in the fields.
The Seosan Six-Cluster Garlic Festival will take place from June 26 to 28,
held at the Seosan Haemi Fortress.
Enjoy the Seosan Six-Cluster Garlic Festival, featuring garlic with firm cloves and strong flavor.
The festival runs from June 20 to 21,
and the Six-Cluster Garlic Festival will be from June 26 to 28.
See you there!
