The Beauty of Lotus Flowers in Geochang
July is the peak season for the beautiful blooming of lotus flowers, and I had the pleasure of visiting Geochang Changpo Garden on July 3, 2026, to witness the vibrant blossoms.
This garden is one of the main tourist attractions in Geochang, offering a stunning view of its floral displays.
From October 24 to November 8, 2026, the garden will host a chrysanthemum exhibition, making it a great opportunity to plan a trip during the fragrant autumn season.
At Geochang Changpo Garden, visitors can enjoy flowers outdoors until autumn, and in winter, the tropical greenhouse offers a refreshing touch of green nature.
Strolling along the willow-shaded paths and passing by the refreshing fountains, I followed the path guided by the purple daylilies, walking towards the area where the lotus flowers bloom amidst various vibrant flowers.
The delicate and colorful lotus flowers blooming on the lush green leaves made me forget the summer heat.
While some lotus flowers were still budding, many had just started to bloom, creating a beautiful sight across the expansive wetland.
The photo zone at the 'Stairs to Heaven' is a great spot to capture memories, and the well-maintained edges of the wetland allow for a close-up view of the enchanting lotus flowers swaying in the breeze.
After enjoying the lotus flowers, I took a leisurely walk around the garden, passing through the naturalistic garden and along the rainbow path.
Being close by means I can visit anytime, which made today a happy day living in Geochang.
