Special Exhibition at the Goesan Ecological Museum: Exploring the Universe with Kids

The Goesan Ecological Museum is currently hosting a special exhibition titled <Goesan Space Special City Star Exploration Team>, perfect for a family outing.
This exhibition invites children to embark on a journey through space with various activities. I participated with my kids, and they were thoroughly satisfied.
Let me introduce the Star Exploration Team exhibition.
Upon entering the Goesan Ecological Museum, you'll notice adorable sculptures. Passing through an entrance guarded by a cute devil, you will find yourself surrounded by tangerines and corn rockets, ready to fully enjoy the exhibition.
In the lobby, a colorful rainbow apple awaits, symbolizing the essence of this exhibition.
Starting with the question, "What does life look like in space?", the exhibition encourages visitors to imagine and experience the possibilities of fruits and plants in unfamiliar environments.
As the exploration begins, visitors encounter a microgravity orchard, where they can walk along a path lined with fruits that grow by absorbing moisture and gases from the air instead of rooting in the ground.
These fruits grow long and flexible to maximize their surface area for air contact.
Interact with cute, furry plants and space monsters while grooming them with a brush.
There’s a word puzzle experience where you can solve riddles by following secret images on the wall. Shine a flashlight to reveal hints and find the five-letter answers.
Discover the secrets of asteroids and invisible light traces, where you can create drawings or write with the light from your flashlight.
In a space where movement creates music, feel free to sway your body and play the sounds of the universe.
This area, filled with the light and balls of the cosmos, is a favorite among children, allowing them to search for stars in a ball pit.
The exhibition continues on the second floor.
In the sparkling cosmic garden light laboratory, place objects on a lightbox, experiment with overlapping and moving light, and imagine your own cosmic garden. What would a tree growing from starlight look like? What about a flower? Can a plant grow in the air without being round?
These questions encourage creativity and allow children to design their unique universe using various materials.
There’s also a space to write down thoughts about which star to visit on a family space trip and what name to give to their created star, filled with notes reflecting individual ideas.
Capture memories at the photo zone inside the Goesan Special City Star Exploration Team spaceship.
Experience creating your own planet, building a universe with your handcrafted stars and planets, or connecting with friends' planets to form new constellations.
Children focused intently on their creations, resulting in a wall adorned with countless imaginative planets.
The Goesan Space Special City Star Exploration Team offers a hands-on experience full of fun and imagination, making it easy to lose track of time with your kids.
It was a valuable time for expanding thoughts and communication with my child.
This exhibition runs until December 6th, so if you plan a trip to Goesan with your child, be sure to visit the Goesan Ecological Museum.
It's less than a five-minute drive from the Chungbuk Aquarium, making it even better to explore both attractions together.
