Sinan's Mud Flat Octopus Street Revitalized

Sinan County has refurbished the aging facilities of the 'Island Mud Flat Octopus Food Street,' located in Songgong Port, ApHae-eup, creating a more pleasant environment for tourists.
Sinan's Representative Food Street, Revitalized!
The Island Mud Flat Octopus Food Street was selected for Jeollanam-do's 'Namdo Food Street Creation Project' in 2017. In 2019, sculptures symbolizing octopus and information signs were installed, establishing it as a representative food attraction in Sinan.
However, as time passed after its creation, the facilities aged, and the promotional effect of the street as a whole weakened.
In response, Sinan County revitalized the street by holding meetings with the merchants' association, providing hospitality training, and repainting and maintaining key facilities.
A Cleaner, Friendlier Street You'll Want to Visit Again
Through this renovation, the information signs and sculptures have become cleaner, and the overall atmosphere of the street has brightened.
To increase visitor satisfaction, parking 안내 signs have been improved, and service training has been provided to merchants to prepare for a friendlier and warmer island trip.
An official from Sinan County said, "We expect the Island Mud Flat Octopus Food Street to regain its vitality through this renovation. We will continue to focus on improving tourism infrastructure and promotion that highlights the unique characteristics of the region."
