Hello everyone!

Today, I would like to introduce a truly special and valuable place for youths aged 9 to 24 living in Dangjin.

It is the Dangjin Youth Cultural Center, which strongly supports the growth of youths leading the future.

Nowadays, many of our youths face significant academic stress and often struggle to find healthy cultural spaces to enjoy.

This center goes beyond being just a relaxation space; it is a fantastic facility where youths can experience information, culture, and art all in one place.

Based on Article 10, Paragraph 1 of the Youth Activity Promotion Act, it is an officially operated facility that ensures safety and systematic management, allowing parents to send their children with peace of mind.

Let me first share the operating hours with you.

From Tuesday to Friday, the center is open from 10 AM to 8 PM, providing ample time for youths to visit after school and enjoy productive time.

On weekends, it operates from 10 AM to 6 PM, making it perfect for spending leisure time.

However, please note a few important points: the center is closed on Mondays and public holidays, so please remember this before you visit.

As a dedicated space for Dangjin's youth, adults without accompanying youths cannot use the facilities alone.

One of the most anticipated spaces during my visit was the cafeteria, a dedicated resting area for youths.

This is the only place within the Dangjin Youth Cultural Center where drinks can be enjoyed.

The cafeteria's operating hours are slightly different from the overall facility hours, so be sure to check before your visit.

From Tuesday to Friday, it operates from 10 AM to 4 PM, and on Saturdays, from 11 AM to 4 PM. On Sundays, it is open from 1 PM to 4 PM, so plan your visit accordingly.

There is also a charging zone for phones, allowing you to charge your devices freely!

Youths can enjoy one free drink per day at the cafeteria, and they can also bring their board games to play.

The variety of board games available is impressive!

Importantly, since this is a space exclusively for youths, drinks cannot be ordered by pre-school children or adults not accompanied by youths.

Bringing your tumbler allows you to receive a free drink, and there is even a cleaning zone for tumblers, making it environmentally friendly!

After recharging with a drink, let’s take a closer look at the appealing facilities of the Dangjin Youth Cultural Center, starting from the first floor.

As you enter the first floor, you will be greeted by an amazing space filled with activities.

There is a space for enjoying pocket billiards, and a cozy reading café created in partnership with Samsung Display, where you can cultivate a reading habit.

With a view of greenery, this space encourages reading various books!

Books suitable for youths are carefully selected and displayed, and all books inside can be read comfortably.

Additionally, there are spaces equipped with a 3D printer for experiencing the latest technology and areas for stimulating imagination.

One of the most popular spots among youths is the gaming area, where you can enjoy PS and Nintendo games, making it a paradise for gaming enthusiasts.

While the gaming area is available during weekdays and weekends, usage is limited to one hour to ensure fair access for everyone.

Even if there are no waiting friends, the rule is to use it for only one hour for the next friends.

To maintain a pleasant environment, outside food is strictly prohibited in all first-floor facilities except the cafeteria.

On the second floor, you will find active zones where you can express your artistic flair and energy.

There is a vibrant area for playing table tennis, a dance studio with mirrors for practicing dance, and a band room for music-loving youths to play instruments.

Small karaoke rooms are also available, accommodating up to two people for a comfortable and safe experience.

Remember to remove your shoes and store them neatly in the shoe rack before entering, and return the remote and microphone to the front desk after your one-hour usage.

The Dangjin Youth Cultural Center is truly a must-visit space for youths to relax, learn, and enjoy.

It’s an ideal place to share with your child or recommend to youths in your life!
