Introducing New Low-Profile Cleaning Vehicles for Enhanced Safety

Hello from Sinan County.
We have introduced new low-profile cleaning vehicles to ensure the safety of our environmental workers and improve their working conditions.
These vehicles have been deployed to the Jido-eup Office starting this month for full-scale operation.
Previously, the height of the existing cleaning vehicles posed a risk of musculoskeletal injuries and falls during boarding and alighting.
The newly introduced low-profile cleaning vehicles are designed to allow workers to get on and off more safely and conveniently.
We expect this will significantly reduce the workload of our environmental workers.
Notably, these vehicles feature a dedicated boarding area separated from the driver's seat, as well as various safety devices, including:
- Compression cover
- Hydraulic safety device
- 5-channel external work monitoring camera
These safety features are expected to greatly aid in preventing accidents during operations.
Sinan County has prioritized deploying these vehicles in Jido-eup, where traditional markets and seafood distribution centers are concentrated, leading to a high volume of waste collection.
We will conduct a pilot operation and analyze the performance for potential expansion in the future.
Moving forward, Sinan County will continue to create a safe working environment for our environmental workers and modernize cleaning equipment to prevent serious accidents and promote a cleaner, safer community.
