Located in the Jinju Innovation City, Waterchowl Park is an ideal spot for family outings! The park features wide walking paths perfect for walking or cycling, along with a large playground where children can run and play freely.

Nestled amidst the beautiful scenery of the Yeongcheon River and Galjeon Stream, the park has a retention pond that adds to its lush atmosphere. The park also features a designated barefoot walking trail! There is a space for washing your feet on one side, so it's a good idea to bring a towel if you plan to walk barefoot.

At the park entrance, you can take advantage of the "Hamo-tago" service, which offers two hours of free bicycle rentals. "Hamo-tago" means "a bicycle journey with Hamo" and was selected in a naming contest for Jinju's shared bicycles.
Bicycle rental stations are set up in various locations throughout Jinju, and you can return the bikes to designated spots. You can use the lock attached to the back of the bike for both rental and return.

✔️ Access the Hamo-tago website via your mobile phone, sign up, and you can start using it.
✔️ Check for available bikes at the rental station and visit to use them.
✔️ The basic rental time is 120 minutes, and you can return and re-rent after use.
✔️ Bicycle riding is available for those aged 15 and over, and the service operates from 07:00 to 20:00.
Using bicycles, which are an eco-friendly mode of transport, allows you to experience Jinju's unique routes. The public bicycle service offers various courses, including Namgang Circular, Arboretum, Jinyang Lake, Yongho Garden, and Gangju Pond.
As you enter the park, you will find a large playground favored by children and a water play area filled with laughter during July and August.
The playground boasts a spacious area with shaded spots, allowing parents to comfortably watch their children play. There is also a separate playground for toddlers.
The playground features a variety of slides and play equipment, including swings, seesaws, sand play areas, and zip lines, providing plenty of fun for everyone.
The well-maintained walking paths make it easy for strollers to navigate the park!
The water play area can be reserved through Jinju's integrated reservation system. You can apply for visits and experiences in the order of Water Playground and Waterchowl Park Water Playground.

✔️ Operating 6 days a week (Wednesday to Monday), with regular closure on Tuesdays.
✔️ Open from 10:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and from 9:50 to 20:00 on weekends.

Waterchowl Park is free to use, but please follow the facility guidelines and cooperate with safety and operational staff for a safe experience. In addition to Waterchowl Park, you can find water play areas at Kumhoji Waterfront Theme Park, Doraisae Park, and Gaho Dream Lantern Park.
The park offers various attractions, including a large ferry-shaped slide and a model of Jinju Castle.
In addition to water play, there are ground fountains for added excitement! The fountains operate daily from 10:00 to 18:00, running for 50 minutes followed by a 10-minute break.
Expect to find ground fountains at various locations, including Pyeonggeo Green Space, Namgaram Park, and Chojeon Waterlight Park!
