Exploring the Tranquil Daehwa Park in Jincheon

Recently, the weather has become quite cool, and I was looking for a place to clear my mind while taking a light walk. I visited Daehwa Park located in Jincheon, near the Chungbuk Innovation City.
From the entrance, the wooden deck path is beautifully constructed, making my steps feel light throughout the walk.
As I strolled slowly along the interconnected deck paths, a wide ecological lake opened up before my eyes. Peering into the lake, I noticed ducks swimming peacefully, and on one side, a magnificent heron stood still, taking a break. It was fascinating to see the well-preserved natural ecosystem, and it was a moment of tranquility that I rarely experience in my busy daily life.
The paths are flat and neatly arranged, making it a great place for a light run or a quiet stroll.
The park is well-equipped with resting areas for visitors to relax comfortably. One standout feature was a large shaded shelter made of sturdy metal, with ample space for several people to sit or lie down and enjoy the cool breeze away from the sun.
As I walked further, I came across a large and beautiful pavilion, right next to which stood an impressive tree that caught my eye. Upon closer inspection, I found a plaque indicating that this tree was a commemorative planting made by previous organizations to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Chungbuk Innovation City establishment.
Sitting in the cool shade of the pavilion, gazing at this magnificent commemorative tree and the lake felt like a true eye-refreshing experience.
If I had to choose the most memorable and unique spot in Daehwa Park, it would undoubtedly be the crescent-shaped smart bench called 'O-Chair.' Its vibrant and beautiful crescent shape makes it easily noticeable from afar. Initially, I thought it was just a pretty design, but it turned out to have smart and fascinating features hidden within.
At night, various colorful LED lights illuminate the bench, enhancing the charming atmosphere. The best part is that when you sit on this bench and turn on your smartphone's Bluetooth, 'O-Chair' appears in the device list. Once connected, you can enjoy your favorite music through the bench's built-in speakers.
The exercise facilities blend well with the surroundings and are well-maintained, making it easy to stretch and loosen up during your walk.
This park is an ideal refuge for quiet relaxation or a light-hearted stroll with family or friends, where you can share pleasant conversations anytime without hesitation.
