Busking Performance at Yesan's Yesdang Lake
It was a sunny weekend in May, attracting many visitors to Yesdang Lake.
On weekends, performances are held at the lakeside stage of Yesdang Reservoir, and on this day, a busking performance was in full swing, perfectly matching the lovely weather.
The busking performance began after the music fountain ended at 2:20 PM, hosted by the band 'Yeoldujul Aneseo' from Yesan.
Although not widely known, 'Yeoldujul Aneseo' is a workplace band that actively communicates with local residents through various activities such as happy sharing concerts and street busking, maintaining consistent engagement while balancing work and studies.
On this particular day, there were many students present, providing a glimpse into the local youth culture and their musical preferences.
Various teams participated, including students from Goduk Middle School, Imseong Middle School, and the Yeoldujul Aneseo band. Despite the scorching sun, they persevered to perform under the bright sky.
With the stunning backdrop of the Yesdang Lake suspension bridge, the passion of the veteran students was palpable, and they did not show any signs of nervousness.
The students were fully committed, and their rehearsals displayed impressive skills. It was inspiring to see such dedication to pursuing their hobbies and dreams at such a young age.
The next team was from the hosting band, Yeoldujul Aneseo. In addition to the students, the band leader also participated by playing the drums and guitar.
Having briefly learned guitar as an adult, I found their performances remarkable, sparking a desire to pick it up again.
In addition to these bands, several other teams from various schools in Yesan participated, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for those walking by.
I hope they continue to gain stage experience, enhance their skills, and contribute to local development.
Recently, Yesdang Reservoir has introduced new attractions such as the Yesdang Observatory, Yesdang Suspension Bridge Adventure, and moving boats.
