Beautiful Garden Hwasumok

Hwasumok is the first private garden in South Korea, located in Gyochun-ri, Mokcheon-eup, Cheonan.

It features themed gardens, a 100m artificial waterfall, a bonsai garden, a Tamra botanical garden, walking paths, a rock sculpture path, a lawn plaza, and a bakery café.

Visitors can enjoy a stroll through the garden and stop by the Hwasumok restaurant or bakery café for meals and drinks. Sitting by the open window at the bakery café, overlooking the beautiful garden, offers a unique sense of relaxation.

Hwasumok is also a popular venue for garden weddings and indoor banquets, making it a favored location for corporate workshops. During our visit on April 11th, weddings and receptions were taking place.

The garden is easily accessible, with ample parking, including designated spots for disabled guests.

The garden wedding area in front of the convention center was dazzling with beautiful spring flowers. Hwasumok is the only beautiful private garden in Cheonan and operates year-round as a popular tourist destination for families and couples.

The bonsai garden is home to numerous flowers, as well as friendly animals like rabbits and guinea pigs. The paths connect to a daffodil hill, creating a serene atmosphere.

The Tamra botanical garden is unique in that it showcases camellia flowers from October to March, making it a year-round healing destination.

The garden features a variety of citrus trees, including a 200-year-old kumquat tree and one of the largest citrus trees in Korea.

As you stroll through the garden, you can enjoy the vibrant colors of flowers and the beauty of nature, creating a peaceful and rejuvenating experience.
