A Perfect Day Trip in Gyeongju Without a Car

Hello, welcome to Gyeongju Tourism!✨
Traveling in Gyeongju is entirely possible without a car.
Today, I’d like to introduce a walking tour itinerary accessible by bus.
If you’re planning a day trip or a weekend getaway, this schedule is perfect for you!✨
Arrive at Gyeongju Bus Terminal via express bus!
First things first, let’s grab lunch and satisfy our sweet tooth!
Take a bus to Hwanglidangil, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops to explore.
After filling up, take a leisurely walk to Cheomseongdae and hop on the silk worm electric train.
Sit back and enjoy the scenery around Cheomseongdae!
★ Reservations are required through the Gyeongju Public Reservation Service★
After a ride on the silk worm electric train, it’s time to admire the flowers!
In spring, Cheomseongdae features a flower garden. Although the tulips are fading, the canola flowers and poppies are just beginning to bloom.
Additionally, if you visit Bunhwangsa, a recommended spot for canola flowers, you’ll see a beautiful spread of yellow flowers in front of the temple.
It’s a great place for photos and a leisurely stroll!
If you’ve enjoyed the bustling areas, it’s now time to relax and appreciate some art.
The Uyang Art Museum is currently hosting a special exhibition of Nam June Paik and a Turner solo exhibition, which I highly recommend!
No trip to Gyeongju would be complete without enjoying the night view.
After sunset, at Bomun Lake, you can witness a media art display featuring the statue of Park Hyeokgeose.
Make sure to check it out!
You can have a wonderful time in Gyeongju even without a car!
Follow this itinerary and enjoy a special weekend in Gyeongju!
