A Meaningful Experience at the 2026 Island Tulip Festival

Our public daycare centers in Sinan County,
Heuksan Hana Daycare and
Sinan Jangsan Daycare,
visited the '2026 Island Tulip Festival'
held in Imja-myeon from April 15 to 16.
This trip was more than just an outing;
it was part of a collaborative program
between the daycare centers,
including joint camping activities.
The event aimed to strengthen communication
and cooperation between institutions,
while providing children with diverse experiences
in nature.
Especially, the program allowed children to
spend time away from their parents,
living with staff and peers,
which helped them develop autonomy and independence.
In the blooming tulip fields,
children experienced the beauty of nature
and nurtured their sensitivity.
During camping activities, they shared meals
and enjoyed games,
learning the values of cooperation and consideration.
Staff members present at the event noted,
"It was a great opportunity to share best practices
and build a foundation for collaboration."
They expressed their intention to continue
ongoing exchanges in the future.
Sinan County will actively support
collaborative programs between public daycare centers,
creating a nurturing environment
for children to grow healthier and happier.
We will continue to provide opportunities
for children to experience a broader world
through various experiential childcare programs
that reflect the characteristics of our region.
