JTBC 'Knowing Bros' reveals the hilarious 'motel misunderstanding incident'

Comedian Eom Ji-yoon shared an anecdote about 'being mistaken for an AV actress,'

filling the studio with laughter.

On the 25th, JTBC's 'Knowing Bros' featured the three main figures of the popular YouTube comedy channel 'Shortbox'—

Kim Won-hoon, Cho Jin-se, and Eom Ji-yoon—

sharing early episodes and behind-the-scenes stories of the channel.

Eom Ji-yoon confessed, "In the early days, when views were low, we had to film in a motel."

"When the three of us went with a lot of equipment and said, 'We're going to film in one room,'

they thought we were filming an AV (adult video) and said it wasn't allowed."

In response, Cho Jin-se joked, "(Eom Ji-yoon) does have a bit of an erotic actress look,"

causing everyone to burst into laughter.

Eventually, the three of them found another motel and finished filming, she added.

Misunderstood as a real couple due to 'realistic couple' acting

'Shortbox' became a huge hit with the 'Long-Term Relationship' series featuring Eom Ji-yoon,

and has now grown into a popular channel with 3.64 million subscribers.

Kim Won-hoon revealed the reason for casting Eom Ji-yoon, saying, "I thought it shouldn't be too pretty because it's realistic couple content."

"Ji-yoon stood out among the juniors."

However, because Kim Won-hoon's marriage was not well known,

Eom Ji-yoon laughed, "Many people thought I was the one getting married and said, 'Congratulations on your marriage.'"

"When I said I was going to get a wedding dress, everyone thought it was a real wedding."

Meanwhile, the reason Kim Won-hoon took on the role of Eom Ji-yoon's boyfriend was

"due to losing rock-paper-scissors."

Cho Jin-se revealed, "We kept putting it off because we didn't want to do it,"

adding a funny behind-the-scenes story to the 'senior-junior couple acting.'
