The Sejong Center for the Performing Arts will host the <2025 Kkumui Sup Band Concert – Autumn Edition> at the Kkumui Sup Art Center on Saturday, September 27th. Following the 'Spring Edition' in April, this second performance is carefully curated with two teams of distinct musical styles to deliver the unique emotion of indie music and the vibrancy of live performance.
This is a special opportunity to experience the performances of two teams with diverse personalities, 'Dasutt' and 'JKC (Jackingkong)', in one place. The participation of young musicians who are leading the new wave of the indie scene adds to the anticipation.
Sensory Two Teams, Harmony of Diverse Music
Band 'Dasutt' is an indie band that sings sincerely about the emotions of everyday life and youth with lyrical rock sounds and emotional vocals. Their representative songs such as 'Youth', 'Ya, Ya', and 'Life!' delicately capture the emotions in repetitive daily life, resonating deeply with the youth generation. Their music, completed with restrained composition and refined melody, shines even more on stage. 'Dasutt', which continues to have a deep exchange with the audience through narrative performances that follow the flow of emotions, is revealing a distinct presence in the indie scene with their own color.
Meanwhile, band 'JKC (Jackingkong)' delicately unravels the emotions of the city and everyday life with a sophisticated and dreamy sound based on jazz pop. They realize the atmosphere of space with sound, and lead to deep immersion with sensual sound design and compositions that live with blank space.
In particular, on stage, they captivate the audience's five senses with a performance that feels like experiencing the space beyond hearing. Recently, they have been expanding their musical spectrum through collaboration with various genres, and are attracting attention as a band that represents contemporary sensibilities with emotional stage production and elaborate composition.
Seasonal Performance Series in the Urban Forest
'Kkumui Sup Band Concert' is a series-type Sejong Center for the Performing Arts planning performance with carefully selected indie bands that contain seasonal emotions, and presents new musical inspiration to the Gangbuk area every season. By illuminating the emotion and diversity of indie music, you can meet the changing trends of contemporary band music every season. This performance actively reflects the spatial characteristics of Kkumui Sup Art Center, where nature and band music meet in the city center, so that the performance itself becomes a cultural experience and a new way to feel the season. In addition, it is expected to contribute to revitalizing the local culture by creating a cultural base that anyone can sympathize with and participate in in the process of citizens encountering high-quality performances close to their daily lives. The Kkumui Sup Art Center, where the performance is held, is located in Buk Seoul Dream Forest, the largest park in northeastern Seoul, and is attracting attention as a venue where you can deeply experience music in nature.
Ahn Hosang, President of the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts, said, “This performance will be a special time for the audience to experience an emotional refreshment in their daily lives by combining the emotion of the season and the sincerity of band music.” , “We hope to broaden the cultural enjoyment opportunities of local residents through performances with nature in the city center.”

Standing on the 3-story, 49.7m high observatory, you can see a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of Bukhansan, Dobongsan, and Suraksan to the north, and Namsan and the Han River to the south. The Kkumui Sup Art Center Performance Hall is the optimal place for comprehensive component performances, and the height between seats is about 10cm higher than other theaters to minimize visual obstruction.
