Mysterious AppearanceHello!

It's Mar!

I just got back from my very last summer vacation of the year last week.

It was still really hot until last week, and of course, it still is now.

I heard that all the beaches in Gangwon-do were closed, but there were still so many people and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the water!

I'm going to show you Sol Beach Yangyang, where I spent time with my family.

Sol Beach Yangyang

Check-in: 3:00 PM, Check-out: 11:00 AM

Room Type: Family Standard Room with Beds (Cooking Available)

Capacity: Standard 4 people, Maximum 6 people (Additional charge of 11,000 KRW per person)

Amenities: 2 Double Beds, Bedding for 2, Mini Kitchen, Bathroom, Balcony

Sol Beach Yangyang is a slightly older resort in the Daemyung Resort chain.

However, it's well-maintained, has good access to the beaches, and even has a private beach.

I think that's why it's a popular accommodation for vacationers during the summer.

I went last year, and I went again this year!

Since we are a family of four, I booked a Family Standard Room.

I went during the off-season weekend for 190,000 KRW with a membership discount.

The weather is still so hot, but it's already the off-season.

Cheaper is always better!

The resort is divided into a resort building and a hotel building. You can check in at this Centro building for the resort building.

You can check in from 12 PM, so some people get a number early in the morning using the kiosk.

And check-in is from 3 PM.

Floor Guide

Sol Beach Yangyang has both Ocean Play (water park) and a private beach!

That's why many families with children use it.

Personally, I think Ocean Play in Samcheok is the most fun compared to Yangyang and Goseong.

We were originally going to play at the private beach, but we liked Hajodae Beach so much.

We played at Hajodae on the first day and Dongho Beach on the second day before checking out.

Istanbul E is the building I stayed in!

Room Interior

Valuable Experience

This is the view you see when you enter the room.

It's bigger than I thought.

And there are two double beds.

I remember that there was originally one double bed, and the rest of us slept in the side room, but since there are two double beds, we used the side room as a closet!

I heard that Sono Calm Jeju has been renovated, so I don't know if Yangyang has also been renovated or if it's just my memory.

Anyway, this is also good!

The bedding is also very fluffy.

The TV is right in front of the bed, so it's good for lounging around.

This is the side room right next to the entrance.

There are also two sets of bedding in the closet in this room.

I think it's because the Family Standard Room can accommodate up to 6 people.

Here's the mini kitchen and dining table.

There are only three chairs at the dining table, so I pulled a chair from the vanity table.

The bathroom is simple.

The only downside is that the water pressure isn't strong.

Only shampoo, body wash, soap, and towels are provided. You need to bring the rest.

There are exactly 6 towels provided per night.

Because the faucet is not attached, it is convenient to wipe off items after playing in the water!

Our room's terrace faced the residential area, so there wasn't much of a view, so I'll skip it.

The room was spacious for a family to stay in, and it had two double beds and even a mini kitchen.

It was a completely satisfactory room!

Facilities

Sol Beach Yangyang's facilities include a private beach, Ocean Play (swimming pool), sauna, Good & Goods Mart, coin laundry room, arcade, restaurant, Korean restaurant, Western restaurant, Dunkin' Donuts, Sulbing (Korean shaved ice dessert cafe), cafe, Mexicana Chicken, etc.

It's nice because there's a variety of food to buy.

Especially Sulbing, it's great for packing it up and eating it in the evening! Of course, you can also eat inside!

Sol Beach Yangyang has more chain stores than other Daemyung Resort locations.

Review

Yangyang is a great place to play in the water, so I highly recommend it as a vacation spot.

However, it seems like it would be difficult to get around without a car, since the accommodation is located in a slightly remote area.

And there is also a bit of a parking war.

Even though the day I went was an off-season weekend, the above-ground parking lot was full in the evening.

Finding a parking spot was the most difficult thing.

Recommended places to visit in Yangyang include Hyuhyuam Temple, Naksansa Temple, Hajodae Beach, Dongho Beach, etc.

The water is really clean, and the waves are good for riding.

Especially Hajodae Beach, it starts from very shallow water, so it's perfect for children to play in.

There is also a snorkeling spot in Hajodae, so it would be great for the whole family to go and have fun, right?

I recommend Yangyang Sol Beach as a family trip accommodation in Yangyang, and I will finish today's posting.

Thank you for visiting today.
