Comparison of Prices at Grand Hyatt Jeju's Club Lounge and 38 Pocha

Grand Hyatt Jeju Hotel
Price Comparison of Dream Tower's Club Lounge and 38 Pocha
In December, I made wonderful memories with my family during our staycation at Grand Hyatt Jeju. The hotel offers a warm heated pool, a shopping mall, a spa, delicious restaurants, buffets, and cafes. Among these, the most memorable experiences were at the Club Lounge and 38 Pocha. Many of you might be curious about the prices and menu options at the Grand Hyatt Jeju's Dream Tower Club Lounge and 38 Pocha, so I've compiled all the details.
1. Information on Using the Club Lounge at Grand Hyatt Jeju
During my recent visit to the Grand Hyatt Jeju, I was invited to the Grand Club, making our staycation even more comfortable. Check-in was seamless at the private desk on the 6th floor, allowing us to enter our room without any waiting.
The Club Lounge usage fee is 78,000 KRW for adults and 38,000 KRW for children. While it may seem a bit pricey, it includes breakfast, snacks, evening cocktails, and all-day drinks and snacks. We reserved breakfast at the Dream Kitchen buffet and enjoyed tea and snacks, as well as the evening cocktails twice!
The entrance is right next to the Grand Club front desk on the 6th floor. You only need to mention your room number to enter.
2. Tea & Snacks at the Hyatt Club Lounge
After unpacking in our room, we headed to enjoy some afternoon snacks. We checked in at 3 PM and arrived just in time for tea and snack time. The view of Jeju city from here is stunning.
There are plenty of delicious cookies and snacks to enjoy with coffee, including chocolate balls that my daughter loved. The fridge is stocked with a variety of drinks, making it great for enjoying snacks with my child. The two types of cakes available were especially tasty with coffee.
While there is wine available to set the mood, I opted out since I don't drink during the day.
My daughter loves buffets where she can choose her own snacks, and she was thrilled to pick out her favorites here. Thanks to the Hyatt Club Lounge, we had no time to feel hungry—eating, swimming, and shopping were our main activities!
3. Evening Cocktails at the Club Lounge
We visited during the evening cocktail time, where we could enjoy cocktails with a view of Jeju's city lights. Although it’s cocktail hour, there are also dishes available for dinner, and many guests were dining during this time.
There were freshly prepared dishes, and they were constantly replenished, ensuring we had plenty to enjoy. The cocktail hour featured various gins and whiskeys, along with beers in the fridge. I had a beer myself.
The menu includes a variety of dishes that could easily serve as a meal, including fried items, grilled eggplant, and yuba pockets, as well as grilled salmon and Japanese-style braised pork belly.
The pork belly was incredibly tender and melted in your mouth, distinct from our traditional Korean boiled pork. The taste is still fresh in my memory!
They also prepare Tan Tan noodles on the spot, which were even better than at dedicated restaurants. I would have gone back for seconds if I had been having dinner!
With a selection of cheeses, salads, and desserts, it’s the perfect spot for a full dinner.
4. Price Menu Comparison at Dream Tower's 38 Pocha
We should compare the prices at 38 Pocha located at the top of Dream Tower. It offers a fantastic view of the city while enjoying drinks and delicious dishes, making it popular among both hotel guests and locals looking for a place to unwind.
While it’s located within a hotel, the prices for drinks and snacks are comparable to regular pubs. The menu features a variety of dishes from fried chicken to Korean snacks, allowing you to enjoy a drink while having dinner.
Enjoying a glass of Hallasan soju with this magnificent view is simply the best! The atmosphere is delightful.
We ordered several items for dinner, especially the sunset platter, which includes pancakes, stir-fried gizzards, boiled pork, tteokbokki, chicken, and tofu with kimchi, offering something for everyone.
The boiled pork was incredibly tender and melted in your mouth, especially paired with aged kimchi!
After exploring the snacks, it was time for a drink. Enjoying a drink after swimming was delightful.
Hallasan soju pairs wonderfully with the dishes, and we also enjoyed it with tofu, spam, and kimchi. Even though it’s a pocha, the food is just as good as in a restaurant!
I've compiled the prices of the Grand Hyatt Jeju's Dream Tower Club Lounge and 38 Pocha. I hope you enjoy your staycation as much as my family did!
