A Relaxing Trip to Jecheon: My Stay at Ari Hotel

I recently took a 1-night, 2-day trip to Jecheon.
During my stay, I enjoyed skin care treatments, indulged in some delicious grilled meats, and savored chicken and shrimp dishes at Hyogangjeong.
I also had a scalp treatment at Forest Scalp and received facial care at Eunkyung Aesthetic. My companion even got a tailored dress shirt!
We explored the scenic Uirimji Lake and accomplished a lot in just one day.
We chose the Ari Hotel located in Myeongdong, Jecheon for our accommodation.
I initially thought Jecheon might be a bit outdated, but I was surprised to find the hotel was clean and bright, possibly newly built.
Upon entering the hotel, the soft lighting created a warm atmosphere, and it was pleasantly quiet.
At the reception, I received my room key, but I quickly realized there was no elevator. However, the hotel only has three floors, making it manageable to walk.
In front of the reception, there were complimentary coffee, various snacks, bottled water, and even a microwave for guests.
Additionally, they provided disposable contact lens cases and cleaning solution, which was thoughtful since I’ve had issues in the past while traveling.
The hallways were clean, and there were extra bottled water, towels, and bathrobes available for guests to use.
As soon as I entered my room, I was greeted by modern decor and a cozy ambiance.
The subdued gray floor and black headboard created a calming space, while the soft, indirect lighting added a touch of elegance.
The bedding was neatly arranged in white tones, giving a clean first impression, and I had a comfortable sleep thanks to the plush pillows and mattress.
The room also had a steamer for business travelers, and a cozy brown lounge chair with a round table, perfect for enjoying coffee or relaxing.
The refrigerator was stocked with three bottles of water, and there was an electric blanket for warmth.
I chose Ari Hotel for its bathtub, as I enjoy taking relaxing baths. The bathroom was spotless without any unpleasant odors or stains.
Shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion were provided, along with five towels, so I didn’t have to worry about that.
Breakfast is served in the basement, available from 7 AM to 9 AM, excluding weekends and holidays.
The dining area was clean and comfortable, with no unpleasant smells, and the tables were well-spaced.
The breakfast menu included cornflakes, milk, toast, orange juice, various instant noodles, and even Han River ramen!
It was a refreshing change to enjoy toast and cornflakes after a long time, while my companion relished Shin Ramyeon and rice.
The hotel is perfect for solo relaxation or as a couple's getaway.
