A Memorable Stay at Olympic Parktel

Today was the day we were going to see the Tiny Ping musical.
However, I was extremely tired after traveling from Daegu yesterday.
So, I considered just staying at a hotel near the performance venue in Gangdong-gu.
When I checked Agoda, I found a room with a double bed and a single bed for 129,000 won, including breakfast.
I quickly made the payment, packed my things, and was ready to leave in an hour.
Upon arriving at Olympic Parktel, I discovered that the parking lot was under construction until the end of March.
When I called, they informed me that I could park in the underground parking of the adjacent building or the outdoor parking behind the hotel.
Even though we arrived around 2 PM, they checked us in early.
The staff was very friendly, and parking was free.
In Gangnam hotels, parking usually costs around 15,000 won a day, so this was a great perk.
We were assigned room 813, which had a hidden advantage on the 8th floor.
There was a vending machine on our floor, which was convenient since there is also a convenience store on the basement level.
The staff who assigned us to the 8th floor was very thoughtful.
Here’s a tip: when booking a hotel, I often request a specific room after reading reviews.
If you like this review, you might want to request room 813 when you book.
Upon entering the room, I found the layout to be surprisingly nice and spacious.
The TV was positioned at a comfortable distance, and the table was quite large.
The view from the window was beautiful, and in the morning, I even saw my husband running in Olympic Park.
The blackout curtains worked well, ensuring we wouldn't wake up to morning sunlight.
Another tip: the hotel has carpeted floors.
If you're traveling with a child, bringing disposable slippers or kid-sized Crocs would be a good idea since the hotel slippers are reusable.
The bathroom was equipped with shampoo and body wash.
However, there were no toothbrushes or toothpaste, but you can find those in the vending machine next to the elevator.
It was great that breakfast was included in the price.
It was convenient not having to prepare a separate meal for my child, and the breakfast options were satisfying.
If you're coming from the provinces and have plans for Lotte World, Olympic Park, or Gangdong-gu,
this place offers excellent value for money.
With breakfast included, free parking, and a family bed arrangement,
the satisfaction level was very high.
I would definitely choose to stay here again for a night in Seoul with my child.
I highly recommend it!
