Hello! This is JOO's blog!

Today, I bring you the schedule for our last day!

I've included links and search terms for each location below, so feel free to copy and use them!

Starbucks Coffee (Bund SOHO Shop)

In the morning, instead of having breakfast at the hotel, I went to a nearby Starbucks.

For some reason, the coffee at Starbucks in China seems tastier!

Sichuan Citizen

You need to search for "Longmen Zhen Cha Sichuan Cuisine" on the map.

Enter through the alley in the photo and take the elevator to the third floor!

It seemed like a popular spot among locals.

The hall is huge, allowing many people to enter at once.

I went around 1 PM on a weekday, and suddenly there was a waiting line behind us!

There is also a clean restroom down this path!

It has western-style toilets, making it convenient to use.

Garlic Cucumber Salad

I usually don’t eat cucumbers at all.

I either avoid cucumber dishes or pick them out.

However, here, the cucumber didn't have its usual strong taste, and I enjoyed it!

The dish was spicy, and the cucumber helped refresh my palate.

It was sweet and delicious; you must try it!

Basil Drop

I ordered a non-alcoholic basil cocktail since the alcoholic version is said to be strong.

Even those who dislike basil would enjoy this drink!

It has a refreshing lemony taste with a hint of basil. Highly recommended!

Crispy Numbing Spicy Chicken

Please don’t order this...

My sister, who enjoys spicy food, found this dish extremely spicy.

I took one bite, and my lips felt numb!

I thought it would be a meaty chicken, but it was mostly just skin.

It felt more like a beer snack.

If you can’t handle spicy food, do not order this!

Mapo Tofu

I understand why Mapo Tofu is famous.

The seasoning penetrated the tofu perfectly, making it delicious for anyone.

It was about as spicy as spicy ramen.

Smooth and easy to eat; I recommend it!

Shanghai Christmas Market

After feeling disappointed at Wukang Road, we took a Didi back to Bund.

We had to go to the Christmas market!

It was held in an alley next to the Peninsula Hotel this year.

The entrance fee was 40 yuan for adults and 30 yuan for children.

The market was beautifully decorated, with various food options like mulled wine, fries, and pizza.

However, it was quite crowded, making it hard to enjoy things at a leisurely pace.

Sleep No More

This immersive theater experience lasts about three hours.

Based on Shakespeare's Macbeth, knowing the story beforehand will enhance your experience.

You’ll need to follow the actors' gestures and expressions to understand the story!

The McKinnon Hotel is where you can buy tickets.

They open the ticket booth 30 minutes before the show.

You can store your bags for free, so make sure to leave your jackets behind.

You might get hot during the three-hour performance!

At the entrance, they give you a card that determines your order of entry.

After the show, it’s fun to share your viewing routes with friends.

I highly recommend this experience for anyone who loves immersive theater!

Haidilao Hot Pot

After everything, we had dinner at Haidilao, located diagonally from the hotel intersection.

I recommend resolving your dinner here!
