Experience the beauty and learning of tradition at the serene Gimpo Hyanggyo.

Participate in the traditional culture program at Gimpo Hyanggyo.

In line with the 2026 National Heritage Utilization Project for Hyanggyo and Seowon, we are recruiting participants for the Gimpo Hyanggyo Woodworking Class 'Ium'.

🗓️ Duration

From May 15, 2026 (Friday) to June 19, 2026 (Friday)

Every Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

📍 Location

Gimpo Hyanggyo

👥 Target Audience

15 general citizens (First-come, first-served basis)

📋 Application Method

Visit the Gimpo Cultural Center website or access the application form.

The Gimpo Hyanggyo Woodworking Class 'Ium' is a wood carving class where you can read the grain of wood and carve your own pieces, finding a moment of respite in your daily life.

Details:

  • Date: May 15 to June 19, 2026 (Every Friday for a total of 6 weeks) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Location: Gimpo Hyanggyo
  • Target: General citizens (15 participants, with 5 on standby)
  • Cost: Free
