We are recruiting participants for the 'Seoul Trail 100 Expedition Team' to complete the 156.5 km trekking course!
We are waiting for you to enjoy spring while walking the Seoul Trail.
This coming spring, challenge yourself to a 156.5 km trek around Seoul!
What is the 'Seoul Trail 100 Expedition Team'?
The 'Seoul Trail 100 Expedition Team' is a representative trekking program of Seoul, where 100 participants complete the entire 156.5 km Seoul Trail together, which might be daunting to tackle alone.
This 16th expedition team is designed to enhance understanding of forest trails and prepare participants to promote and monitor these trails in the future.
Starting with the opening ceremony on March 14 and concluding with the closing ceremony on May 30, the program will be conducted over approximately 3 months, with a total of 11 sessions held every Saturday, walking different sections of the Seoul Trail.
How can you apply?
Any citizen who can complete the 156.5 km Seoul Trail without assistance can apply, and a total of 100 participants will be selected.
(30 participants selected internally, 70 through general selection)
Application Period: February 20, 2026 (Friday) to March 2, 2026 (Monday)
Selection Announcement: March 6, 2026 (Friday)
Participation Fee: 30,000 KRW / person
Activity Period: March 14, 2026 to May 30, 2026 (every Saturday)
How will the trekking schedule proceed over 11 weeks?
The expedition will consist of 11 sessions, completing the entire 156.5 km over approximately 67 hours!
Each session will have a qualified guide and emergency personnel to ensure a safe trekking environment.
Participants who successfully complete the journey will receive a 'Completion Certificate' and commemorative gifts.
