The 2026 Seoul Gardening Crew is recruiting citizens to cultivate gardens together in Seoul Forest, Boramae Park, and World Cup Park.
Applications open on Saturday, August 15, at 12 PM on a first-come, first-served basis. Training sessions and field activities will take place from August 29 to September 12, totaling three sessions.
The garden created by citizens in Seoul Forest last May is now ready for ongoing care.

What is the 2026 Seoul Gardening Crew?
The Seoul City government is inviting 75 participants to join the "2026 Seoul Gardening Crew," a citizen engagement program aimed at cultivating and caring for urban park gardens.
The program allows citizens to experience gardening culture by directly tending to park gardens.
Schedule: August 29 (Saturday) to September 12 (Saturday), three sessions
Location: Seoul Forest, Boramae Park, World Cup Park
Participants: 25 people per park, totaling 75
Main activities include:
- Weeding
- Pruning, replanting, and mulching
- Monitoring plant growth
- Garden maintenance training and practice
Note: Schedules and activities may change due to weather conditions or site circumstances. Participants will be notified of any changes.
What activities will the 2026 Seoul Gardening Crew engage in?
Participants will learn, cultivate, and complete missions over three sessions at Seoul Forest, Boramae Park, and World Cup Park.
