🕒 Inspection Period

For each property, the first inspection date after December 1, 2022, must be within 2 years

(2-year cycle)

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Inspection Targets

All households in multi-family housing, such as apartments

✅ Houses with 5 floors used for residential purposes

✅ 'Apartment' as defined by building laws

✅ 'Urban-type housing' with 5 floors or more as defined by housing laws

🛠️ Inspection Methods

✅ Complete the distributed 'Fire Safety Equipment Inspection Checklist'

✅ Mobile inspection using the ApartmentAI app

✅ Inspection through the management office (inspection company)

Choose one of the above

🔍 Preliminary Inspection

The administrator will notify residents of the details related to household inspections through various means

✅ Fire safety equipment installed in each household must be inspected within 2 years

✅ For operational inspections, at least 50% of all households must be checked each time

✅ For comprehensive inspections, at least 30% of all households must be checked each time

📢 Important Notice

If inspections are not completed within the period without justifiable reasons

According to Article 61(1)(7) of the Fire Safety Installation and Management Act,

a fine of up to 500,000 won may be imposed on related individuals and residents.
