"In September, Dongdaemun is illuminated!"
On a cool September evening, I visited the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP).
DDP looked completely different from usual!
From massive media art displayed on the exterior walls to delicious K-food and unique experiences,
this is the Seoul Light DDP 2026 Autumn event!
This year, the theme is 'DAYBREAKER' and will fill DDP with light during the autumn, winter, and countdown seasons.
The theme for the autumn season I attended is 'K-Original Light'!

How to get to Seoul Light DDP 2026?
Here's a tip for using the subway!
"Getting to DDP is simple!"
I took the subway to DDP!
Exiting from Line 1 at Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, you can easily access DDP.
Moreover, it's accessible from Lines 2, 4, and 5, making it very convenient for public transport!
What if you want to use the parking lot at night?
After 20:00, use the D1 entrance at the Oullim Square (B2).
If you plan to park before viewing the event, please check the entrance hours!
DDP Night Parking Hours: 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM
For after-hours parking, use the D1 entrance at Oullim Square (B2).
Before enjoying the media art, check out the food and activities!
Upon arriving at DDP, what caught my eye first?

On the first floor of DDP, you can find the K-Food Zone and K-Wellness Zone, offering various foods and experiences.
