Enhanced Kiosk Services at Gimpo City Libraries

From screen magnification to voice guidance and height adjustment!
The self-service kiosks frequently used for borrowing books or reserving seats in libraries have become more convenient.
Now, using the kiosks is easier for everyone, regardless of physical characteristics or usage environment.
We've improved various accessibility features of the kiosks to ensure everyone can use the services comfortably.
Here are the new features!
⠿ Braille Keypad
The buttons and functions are now marked with Braille, making it easier for visually impaired users to identify them.
↕️ Height Adjustment
The kiosk height can be adjusted to accommodate users of different physical conditions, making it more accessible for children and wheelchair users.
???? Staff Call Function
A feature has been added to allow users to call for assistance from staff while using the kiosk.
???? Screen Magnification
The text and content on the screen can be enlarged, making it easier to read small print.
???? Voice Guidance
For those who find it difficult to see the screen, voice guidance helps users access the necessary information.
◐ High Contrast Display
The contrast between text and background has been significantly enhanced to make screen content easier to distinguish.
From self-checkout machines and seat management systems to automated membership card issuance,
