Starting April 15, 2026!

Electric scooters, commonly seen throughout the city,
are convenient but have raised concerns
about pedestrian inconvenience and safety accidents.
To address these issues,
the regulations regarding personal mobility devices in Gimpo City have been revised!
Key changes to the regulations for personal mobility devices in Gimpo City:
✔ Strengthened compliance requirements for rental operators
New compliance guidelines have been established
to ensure the safety of both pedestrians and users.
✔ Increased towing fees for illegal parking
The towing fee for devices illegally parked
near tactile paving and crosswalks has been raised from
15,000 KRW to 30,000 KRW.
※ According to the terms of use of electric scooter companies,
the towing fee may be charged to users, so
please check the terms and parking methods for each rental company.
