We also recommend visiting historical sites
such as Seodaemun, Mangwoo Historical and Cultural Park, and Deoksugung.
This is a great opportunity to explore historical spaces in Seoul with your family.

What historical spaces should you visit on March 1st?
Seodaemun area - recommended by reporter Kim Ji-yeon.
This is a historical exploration course recommended by a citizen reporter.
You can directly engage with history that you have only seen in textbooks,
creating vivid learning experiences with your children.
Seodaemun Historical Exploration:
Independence Gate ▶ Seodaemun Independence Park ▶ Seodaemun Prison History Hall ▶ National Museum of the Provisional Government of Korea.
Another recommended location is Mangwoo Historical and Cultural Park,
located in Jungnang-gu, Seoul.
This space is home to the graves of several patriots, including Yu Gwan-sun.
It is a suitable place for quiet reflection on the meaning of independence.
In the heart of Seoul, you can walk along historical courses,
from Deoksugung to Tapgol Park.
Within the city, you can feel the traces of the March 1st Movement.
We hope you have a day of reflection on the intentions of our ancestors.
