From 2026, the tax deduction range for hometown love donations has been increased to 200,000 KRW.

✔ Up to 100,000 KRW: Full tax deduction (100%)
✔ 100,000 KRW to 200,000 KRW: 44% tax deduction applies
Tax Deduction Examples
Donating 100,000 KRW → Full tax deduction of 100,000 KRW
Donating 200,000 KRW → Full tax deduction of 100,000 KRW
→ Excess 100,000 KRW × 44% = 44,000 KRW additional tax deduction
Total tax deduction effect of 144,000 KRW
Note: Tax deductions apply during year-end tax settlement or comprehensive income tax filing.
