A Week of Reflections and Adventures

Every day, I type out a lot of text, yet there is still so much to unravel!
Last year, I realized that I didn't study at all.
And now, I’m battling a cold that doesn’t seem to improve.
As soon as Sang-hyun finished his reserve duty, he suggested we go to the hospital together.
What a sweet guy he is!
My throat hurts, and I wanted to eat five ice creams, but I held back...
After coming back, I studied more, and the Monday ended.
Now it’s Tuesday - it’s hard to focus on just one thing when there’s so much I want to do.
When my goals waver, I feel anxious, and I think I experience this more often than others.
When my heart feels unstable, I remind myself that if I work hard and have ambition, I can accomplish anything.
Just finish one thing at a time.
Tuesday is over :)
Wednesday starts - I focused well on studying today, and it felt great!
No matter how much I read, I understood it all!
But I guess I really wanted to go to my room and sleep.
Wednesday is over.
Then comes Thursday! Since it was the last day of Sang-hyun's reserve duty, we planned to meet in the afternoon.
Before meeting him, I needed to study as much as possible!
To finish my study quota, I chose to wake up at 6:10 AM.
Strangely, I studied really well and completed everything I aimed for.
Wow, I could finish it all in 8 hours and 30 minutes. I realized I could work harder.
Since I thought Sang-hyun would like it, he waited 20 minutes to buy me something from PX.
Originally, we planned to eat marinated ribs, but I switched to sesame oil soba because it felt too heavy.
It was so delicious... By the way, it seems they opened a place in Seoul, exporting from the island!
But the waffles were even better... I could eat five of them!
After playing a board game I really wanted to play and going to karaoke, we even took photos!
We had to rush because we were short on time, but it was fun!
When I’m happy around Sang-hyun, I become a complete goofball.
Being next to him makes my face light up like a full moon.
After returning to Yangseong-gwan without being late, I prepared for the next day’s studies and went to sleep.
I set specific problems to tackle based on time, and this study method works really well for me!
Then came Friday - the week felt really long.
Kim Soo-jom, who was worried about my cold, sponsored some pork soup for me.
I understood why Nayeon from TWICE praised it so much; it was genuinely good soup!
When I was a green college student, there were no such programs.
It just doesn’t match my timing, and it’s so frustrating!
Why is it only now?
On Tuesday, I saw many other opportunities that almost put me in a gloomy mood, and now Thursday brings this!
And even UNESCO!!!
I wanted to go somehow, but since law school admissions take a year, I had to give up.
We can’t do everything we want, but it still makes me upset!
Honestly, I feel jealous when opportunities pass to someone else.
I even started to dislike the LEET exam and questioned why I was doing this.
After deepening my worries, I spoke to my sister who attended law school.
She gave me unexpected encouragement, and I regained my focus!
Don’t fall into self-pity, don’t overthink it, just do it!
So I studied hard and finished on Friday!
Saturday was a day off, and then came the day I had been waiting for - the festival!
The first outing of Sang-hyun, Jeong-yoon, and Su-jeong ended up being a failure due to the pouring rain.
But I’ll try again next year!
After this disappointment, we went to eat, and thanks to Su-jeong, we tried a new place.
However, I found Yun-ok’s food to be more delicious. No intention of revisiting!
When it’s just the two of us, we usually challenge ourselves not to eat ice cream. So even if Sang-hyun wants it, I control myself.
But since Su-jeong wanted ice cream, Sang-hyun ended up having some too!
He looked so excited!
After parting with Su-jeong, we shopped for three hours, both on the verge of collapsing.
We ended up eating at a place we always go to. It’s just too delicious!
The owner must be making a fortune!
Both of us had a sugar spike and collapsed, and somehow ended up back at Yangseong-gwan.
Finally, Sunday arrived!
As usual, I studied early, which means there’s an event.
Yesterday, it rained heavily, so I thought it would be canceled, but surprisingly, it didn’t rain at all!
So, I was mobilized for the event.
To be precise, it was a pocket money-giving event.
Our ancestors must control the weather; it’s amazing!
Seeing Gyu-dtaeng after a long time, he seemed to have lost weight from dieting.
He’s already tall at 189 cm, but losing weight made him look even taller!
After the event, we planned to eat Dae-chun Hae-jang-guk, but my dad suggested sushi, so we went to a nearby place.
They had five blue ribbons? I wondered if such a place existed.
We had the lunch special, but my dad said the course was delicious.
The eel sushi was tasty, but the rest was just okay.
I’m not sure why they have five blue ribbons.
It’s clear that other menu items are better.
Thus, this chaotic week comes to an end!
Every time I go out, I feel so exhausted, realizing my energy is depleted.
Now that I’m almost over my cold, I need to exercise diligently.
