Did you all have a great time at the 'Small Business Expo IN Gwangju' last weekend? I had so much fun that I decided to write a post about it!

The weather was perfect that day, with a nice breeze, so it wasn't too hot. I was so relieved!

This event is all about bringing together products filled with the dedication and stories of local small business owners, symbolizing mutual growth and progress.

It's a meaningful festival organized by the small business owners themselves, which is why it was held in front of Gwangju City Hall.

What made this festival even more amazing were the incredible DJs and artists like Giriboy and Wonstein! (How did they manage to book them?)

It felt like a Gwangju City Hall event where ordinary citizens could come together and enjoy themselves while supporting local small businesses.

I went with my sibling after work that day. They came to see Giriboy!

It was so nice being able to come straight from work and leisurely enjoy the festival.

I love that the City Hall hosts festivals like this often.

I hope they hold many more festivals like this that citizens can enjoy!

Oh no... Giriboy isn't coming on until 10 PM. That's bedtime for me and my sibling!

I really wanted to see him... but I couldn't make it. Maybe next time?

And Mamison is coming the next day? Why did they book all my favorite artists? It's amazing!

They had a 'Picnic Zone' with beanbags and a 'Tent Zone,' so I really got to relax in the city!

I ordered beer and highballs and enjoyed the gentle breeze in this comfortable area.

I guess Snow Peak sponsored this event?

Beautiful Scenery

The food trucks looked so tempting from afar! Why do I always see those first?

I decided to grab something to eat before doing anything else.

The 'Food Zone' next to the 'Experience Zone' was so much fun. There were so many other experiential spaces to enjoy. It was like the Gwangju Night Market!

The DJing on stage had already started, and everyone was buying food and heading to the standing zone. It seemed like everyone was ready to have a good time!

Dreamlike Moment

Me too!

There were so many things to experience! I had so much fun I lost track of time.

And after the experience, they gave me a free coffee coupon, so I was able to enjoy some coffee too.

It really felt like the Gwangju Night Market.

I wondered, is Gwangju City Hall always this fun? I was a little worried that it was too noisy, but it was a time for both the small business owners who prepared and the citizens to enjoy without worries.

Mysterious Appearance

Eating from the food trucks outside reminded me of the Gwangju Night Market. It felt so freeing and I was happy.

The food truck food was amazing as always. It disappeared quickly!

They were also selling beer and highballs, which required age verification. The beer was draft, so it was super refreshing.

They've already been helping small businesses develop products and holding festivals like this in other regions, with positive responses and good results.

I think that's why it was held in Gwangju. I wonder which region will be next?

It really felt like the Gwangju Night Market~~ There were so many small business development products prepared.

The small business pop-up store was like a flea market!

You could tell that nothing was prepared without care. Everyone was selling handmade items with their own unique style.

Special Moment

So fun...

Gwangju is also promoting commercial district brand development for regional development!

I learned at this festival that many organizations are preparing projects to provide a little help to small business owners.

If you are self-employed and preparing to become a small business owner, I hope you visit the Economic Promotion Job Foundation and find things that can help you.

The 'Standing Zone' was set up so you could stand, eat, and enjoy the performances.

It reminded me of the Pentaport Rock Festival I went to last year. It felt like we were all enjoying it together.

Warm Memory

I was so touched that I could enjoy a festival like this in Gwangju...

At the 'Springboard Booth,' you could see and purchase small business development projects (food development products), which was enjoyable.

If you dream of becoming a small business owner, I think it would be a good idea to pay attention to the development project in the future.

As befits a festival, many people were really enjoying the festival!

The festival started with a DJ. I got excited too.

Touching Scene

I bought Gim-bugak (seaweed chips) and Sikhye (sweet rice drink), which are sold in Songjeong-ri.

Products you meet at festivals like this are meaningful and more delicious, right?

I hope you all participate in the Small Business Expo and have a good time!
