The 54th Seoul Adult Day Celebration will be held on May 17th (Sunday) at Deoksugung Stone Wall Path.
This event will feature a reenactment of traditional coming-of-age ceremonies, celebratory performances, and experiential booths from 36 participating organizations.

What kind of event is the 2026 Adult Day Celebration?
More than formal rituals, this event focuses on participation and experience!
Since 1987, the city of Seoul has been preserving the disappearing traditions of Adult Day through commemorative events.
This year's celebration will reflect the voices of youth and reinterpret the meaning of traditional coming-of-age ceremonies in a modern context.

Time: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Location: Car-free area of Deoksugung Stone Wall Path
What programs will be offered during the 2026 Adult Day Celebration?
The event will showcase a variety of attractions including a fashion show featuring traditional clothing, performances, and experiential activities.
Most performances and booths will be available for free participation on-site without prior registration, so if you were born in 2007, don’t miss this one-day celebration!
Experience zones will include:
✔ Traditional fashion show featuring 7 types of Joseon clothing
✔ Hip-hop rap performances by youth from the city’s music center
✔ AI video presentations
✔ Direct participation from 9 individuals born in 2007 in the traditional coming-of-age ceremony
✔ Reenactment of traditional rituals
✔ Declaration of adulthood with ceremonial speeches
