The 2025 Hangeul International Pre-Biennale, which colored various parts of Sejong City for two months, has come to a close with the interest and support of many.
Under the theme of 'Drawing Words, Connected Lives,' the works of a total of 39 domestic and international artists offered a new perspective on Hangeul.
These were moments when letters became formative art and language transformed into art itself.
During the Biennale, Sejong's daily life was immersed in Hangeul through Mr. Doodle's live drawing, workshops with artists, and various other events.
Visitors to the exhibition discovered the hidden beauty of Hangeul while appreciating the artworks, and children smiled as they participated in programs and created Hangeul themselves.
For some, it was a time of new inspiration, and for others, it was an opportunity to rediscover the charm of Hangeul.
This Biennale left a meaning beyond just an exhibition.
It was a time when everyone experienced the special process of art embracing language and language becoming art again!
Although the Biennale has ended, the scenes from that time will likely be remembered for a long time.
