Baby's Specs: Entering 16 months, height 84cm, weight 12kg.

Two months ago, at 14 months, his height measured 82.1cm at the pediatrician, which was in the 98th percentile, and now he seems to be around the same height.

I've always struggled with pant sizes. For thicker clothes, I go for size 5 (small), and for a looser fit, I moved up to size 7!

Each of these is similar to the Dun's baggy sizes 7480 and 8692, haha.

I've been dressing him in mostly overseas clothing, but as a working mom, I haven't had the time to focus on clothes lately. So, during a brief moment of freedom, I visited Namdaemun Market.

I spent 300,000 KRW and wanted to share my purchase review before I forget!

I bought this much for 300,000 KRW, plus one vest that hasn't arrived yet.

Buying Bobo shoes can easily cost 300,000 KRW for just 3-4 pieces, but I feel satisfied with the spring/fall outfits I found!

Of course, the quality and design of overseas clothing can't be matched, but I'm happy with the value for money!

Details on pricing are below. This seems like a great deal, right?

✅ Tips for Shopping at Namdaemun Children's Clothing:

  • Bring cash; they will definitely give you a discount of at least 1,000 KRW compared to bank transfer (for example, if you're short by 1,000 KRW or if your total is 81,000 KRW).
  • Bring a roomy backpack.

These two tips are the most important. Also, research beforehand where you want to visit, and try to finish within 2 hours to make it less exhausting.

⬇️⬇️ Below are reviews of what I bought at different stores ⬇️⬇️

1. Burden: Aosta

Recommended basic tees, soft pants, comfortable pants, and vests. I bought size large (this store's baby sizes run small).

The staff kindly helped me coordinate outfits, and I bought what they suggested.

They gave me a medium vest, I think... I don't remember. I'm waiting for the delivery, and shipping is free.

2. Burden: Rica

I bought spring new arrivals that were recommended in mom cafes! I love the loose fit, so I got size 7.

Everything is dryer-safe, so I bought bigger sizes without regrets.

Comparison of Dun's baggy 7480 and Rica size 7 (Dun's was air-dried).

3. Burden: Apple Mint

This basic striped tee is soft and stretchy, so I bought it right after touching it!

4. Burden: AD (underwear)

It's made of modal and is super soft; they gave me size 100.

5. Burden: Lacamel

6. Burden: Mini Meli

I was torn between navy and beige for a setup at Lacamel, but I decided to go with beige for a brighter look.

Since it was on sale, I got mismatched sizes... I took a small top and a medium bottom. The medium pants are similar to size 7.

Lacamel waffle pants! They are made of good material and look comfortable, so I bought them in small.

7. Burden: Hug Bebe

I found this store while browsing online reviews about fluffy clothes. I couldn't resist getting a cute pair of pants that have a strawberry vibe.

These are slightly thicker, so I bought them in size 5 to wear right away.

After finishing up at Burden, I took a break with some delicious Kim Jin-ho hotteok, which tastes just like I remembered from my childhood.

Then I headed to Paint Town.

8. Paint Town: Goyu

This place is recommended for boys around two years old! I bought a beautiful windbreaker right away.

They had many beautiful pants, but I was disappointed that I needed sizes over 90cm for the ones I liked.

The quality was excellent; it was the most expensive item I bought that day at 58,000 KRW, haha.

9. Paint Town: Apel

I stumbled upon a super cute boys' clothing store! I usually don't go for these styles, but they had lots of hip and sporty pants, so I bought two.

I regret not getting a mint-colored one, but I plan to buy it again if I like how it fits.

10. Paint Town: Oatmeal

The mint coordinating outfit was refreshing and totally my style. They gave me a 10% discount since they are a new business.

The striped color combination stole my heart, and they had plenty of cute baby clothes.

Though I was recommended size XS for a perfect fit, I opted for a loose small since I plan to use a dryer.

11. I forgot the name of this place.

I was tempted by the price of 10,000 KRW for two pairs of fleece pants, and I brought them home. They look huge for size 5, but they are super versatile!

The stores I was most satisfied with based on my personal taste were ✅ Aosta, Goyu, and Apel ✅. Of course, the other stores were great too!

I will post fitting reviews slowly!
